AN- we know that they were kind of engaged during the musical, and I assume that Lucas proposed, and I think that an Addams Family proposal could be fun to write :D I'm going to say that they started dating at 16.

Proposal

Lucas Biencke sat on a bench in Central Park, awaiting the arrival of his girlfriend. The young poet checked his watch for what seemed to be the twentieth time that evening. he sighed, "She's not coming…" Lucas whispered to himself.

"Lucas!" a female voice called, breathless. Lucas turned around, a black-clad figure running towards him, he smiled. "Sorry I'm late." Wednesday panted, "Mother needed me to hold one of her plants still while she pruned it's flowers."

"Its alright." Lucas said as he leaned in to kiss her.

"So, what are we doing tonight?" Wednesday asked, eyeing a pigeon nest in a nearby tree.

"Actually, I wanted to talk to you about something."

This caught her attention, "What excactly?"

"Us." Lucas answered vaguely, but Wednesday's look told him he needed to elaborate. He took her hands in his and sat her down on the bench next to him, "Look, we've been together for awhile now."

"Over two years."

"Yes, and I've been thinking lately, that… Well, I love you, and I don't want to ever live without you." Lucas slid off the bench and onto the ground, "Wednesday, you make me absolutely crazy. Crazy enough to ask you this. we may be only eighteen, but I know that I will always love you. So, will you marry me?"

Wednesday had been sitting speechless on the park bench, completely shocked, "Lucas…" she breathed, "I love you too. Yes!"

"What? Yes?" The man on the ground asked dumbly.

"That's what I said." Wednesday said exasperated, and pulled him up by his collar, kissing him.

"I wish I could have gotten you a ring..." Lucas said sadly. Flipping hamburgers didn't exactly pay enough for an engagement ring.

Wednesday put a finger to his lips, silencing him, "Its okay."

Lucas smiled, "I guess I have to meet your parents now…"

"And I have to meet your's."

"Well, they're supposed to be coming to town in a few weeks."

"Then they can come to dinner at my house, and we can get all of this over with in one night."

And we all know what happens after that ;)
