I haven't written poetry for years so I'm sorry if it isn't written well, I'm better at writing stories. I tried my best though, please R&R!
I count down the days until that magical age
When I will finally become a teen.
Watching my sister have so much fun
While I'm stuck being so young.
A family trip destroys everything.
A deer on the road, a car crash;
My life has ended and I'm still a kid.
I follow my parents to the bridge but turn back,
My sister isn't with us so I go back to help.
A spirit in the mortal world, trying to be a teen.
I hope to live the life through my sister,
I hope but hope isn't enough.
My sister changes, I don't want to move on.
The psychic helps but it's not enough,
I won't go until my sister says I should.
I go back to normal, stop trying to act like a teen
And eventually I cross the bridge to meet my parents.
To start my new life....
