The Story behind Bob Evans
Many people know of the restaurant Bob Evans, right? And that its founder was Bob Evans, but what you didn't know was who Bob Evans was. Now this story goes back years ago, in a universe parallel to the one we are in at this moment. When a young man from a rich family got sick of it all and went to the ruler of his world to cross over to the other. This man's name was Wes Evans, yes I know what you're thinking, "Wes? But it's called Bob Evans!" He changed his first name, thinking it sounded better for the restaurant's name. Anyway, let's go back to that historical day that you've never heard.
He threw down his violin in aggravation, allowing it to smash into pieces. Wes's life had been going steeply downhill in the past month and it was really ticking him off. Sure he loved playing the violin but, just like his younger brother, who had run away approximately four weeks ago, wasn't enjoying being forced into it. Lately he had been dreaming of owning a restaurant. Just in a small town, offering breakfast foods all day long. It would be wonderful, if only his parents could be at least a little supportive. They said it wasn't reasonable; he already had his life ahead of him. But still, it wasn't what he wanted, not anymore. So he packed up his bags, and snuck out of the house, he took a bus to the train station and the train to the edge of the desert. It took a few days but Wes endured the desert heat and sandy winds, until he reached the capital of their universe; the legendary Death City.
"Who are you?" a red-haired man answered the door to the Death Room.
"I'm Wes Evans, I would like to speak with Shinigami-sama, please."
Evans? Does that punk Soul have a brother or something? But this guy seems to shower regularly and is polite…they can't be from the same bloodline. "Alright, he has time at the moment so please come in."
"Thank you," Wes replied walking inside. The red-head called the death god on the mirror in the middle of the cartoony room.
During the conversation between the young man and the god, the red-head found out Wes Evans was indeed Soul 'Eater' Evans's older brother. At some point he had found a spot in the room to cry in hopes that he would keep his hands off of his little Maka.
"So you'd like to go to the other dimension to pursue your dream?" he asked then giggled a little bit, "It seems both you and your brother don't like being controlled. But very well, I can arrange it."
"Thank you, Shinigami-sama!" he exclaimed, spackles showing in his eyes.
And that is how he had gotten to our universe. Once here, the young man found a nice town and a good apartment. Then he started working hard in no time he had built his restaurant and during that time is when he became Bob Evans.
Author's Note: My friend, Ikiffiel was a part of the conversation that lead to this as we passed by a Bob Evans while in the same moving vehicle.
Also has anyone noticed the notice on the private messaging page where it says "Note: Private Messages (PMs) are..." it's kind of a fail abbreviation...and I just wondered if anyone else noticed this?
