A/N: Just something short I wrote. I was going to put it in Restart, but I couldn't think of the right spot to fit it in. Here it is, though, as a oneshot.
Cold fear washed over the three of them.
Harry wanted to run, but she was glued to the spot. She couldn't take her eyes off the slowly incoming danger.
She looked to her right, John was there, shaking slightly. To her left she saw Sherlock, much more composed than John, but his eyes were open wide in alarm. She looked forward again.
The killer slowly inched forward, knife in his hands. A murderous gleam was in his eyes, a twisted grin on his face. Suddenly, he leaped forward with a shout. Harry heard John scream loud and clear.
Harry looked over at him, and quickly pressed the pause button. John's screech died out, and Harry burst out laughing.
"So..." she said through her laughter, "You can handle a war, being a doctor, and living with Sherlock, but you can't watch a scary movie?"
"I can! I knew what was going on, I just wanted to, uh, freak you guys out," John said back, trying to defend himself.
"That scream was very convincing, if you weren't scared," Sherlock said.
John just ignored him and looked back at the screen. Now that the movie was paused, he noticed how silly it seemed. The blood was obviously fake, and the killer had a funny expression on his face due to when Harry paused it on.
"I'm not scared," he said to himself, but Harry still heard him.
"If you're not scared, why don't we finish it? And once we're done with this one, I have the next four movies in the series! It's your lucky day, Johnny!"
"No!" John replied a little to fast, and a little to loudly.
"Sherlock, what do you think?" Harry said, with a smirk at her younger brother.
"I'd love to watch the rest," Sherlock replied. He smiled at John's discomfort.
Harry exaggerated her movements, slowly moving her thumb to hit the play button. John snatched the remote from her and turned of the TV.
"No."
Harry laughed again, Sherlock joining in this time, as John movie to the shelf to grab a movie that was not a horror movie.
