Heyo!
This story is just a very little story of Kylo Ren before the attack on Jakku. Think of this as a pitch for a full fledged story about Kylo Ren before the events of The Force Awakens.

The red hue of his saber gleamed across the rocks. Its crackling echoed through the ravine. His objective knew that he was coming for him. Kylo Ren's drapes gently glided in the frigid air as he pursued the objective. The saber-wielder could sense his prey's fear. It called out to him like a child that had lost its mother. Ren chuckled underneath his fearsome helmet. "You have...," he spoke, cocking his head towards where the objective hid, "Made this interesting." A man sat against a rock, his appearance weak and broken. Casually Ren walked up and lifted his saber up to the man's neck. "Now, Varro...," the metallic voice of Ren said, "You will tell me what you know of Luke Skywalker's location or die."
The man's lips parted, causing a smile to come over Ren. "You will find-," a cough erupted out of Varro's throat. Anticipation was building inside of the saber wielder. Had he finally found what he has been searching for? Was it finally time for his old master to be struck down? These questions and similar ones were rushing through the head of Kylo Ren. Finally, Varro looked back at Ren, his face plastered with red energy. Ren was boiling over with anticipation now.
"You...Will find nothing."
Kylo Ren's eyes went wide and his breathing turned slow. He brought the saber through Varro's neck. It happened so fast that Varro's scream of pain could not escape his lips. Then Ren knew. He had made a grave mistake. His emotions had gotten the best of him again. It did not matter what Varro was willing to say, through the powers of the force Ren could have taken any information right out of him. In a fit of rage Kylo Ren brought his saber down and down again on the rocky wall. Bits of cobble threw off in every direction. Some even was bouncing off his chest.
A beeping was going off from a device that hung on Ren's belt. After one, more slash the red energy retreated in to the hilt of the saber. He placed the saber on his right side while pulling the beeping device from his left. Keeping the device flat on his palm, he then clicked it with his thumb. A blue holographic image projected out.
It was the man Kylo Ren gave no thought too. General Hux. The General was in his normal standing position, his hands behind his back and in proper posture.
"Ah. You finally answered." he said with a disrespectful tone.
"What is it General?" Ren responded, his patience already gone.
"Your search is concluded, you shall return back to the ship. The Supreme Leader is waiting. A ship has been sent to your location. That is all." Then Hux's image faded away back in to the device. Kylo Ren reattached the device and started the hike back up the ravine. Not one care about the man he had just slain.
I really enjoyed Kylo Ren in Force Awakens, and wanted to see if I could could write him in a story. I think I succeeded!
