A/N: Written for The Indigo League Challenge by reminiscent-afterthought and for my starter Pokémon I chose is Charmander. Hope I do this right, I've not really done much writing for fandoms outside of Harry Potter. In this drabble I wrote of it I followed the rules of writing in first person POV, a max word limit of 200, did not mention the names of the three characters I used, used the theme beginning and out of the letters I did used I did not use the letters Q and Z.
First Journey's
My heart pounded as I knelt down and looked at my very first Pokémon, I could not believe that it was finally time, that the beginning of my very first Pokémon Journey was just mere moments away from starting. I felt sweat starting to pour down my hands as my starter Pokémon tilted its head to the side and gave me a wide eyed innocent look.
"Are you sure about your choice?" my Grandfather, a Pokémon Professor, asked as he looked between me and my starter Pokémon, "Is this the one that you have decided to start your journey with?"
"Yes, this is the one," I answered with a small smile on my face as I reached forwards and rubbed the Pokémon's cute bold blue head, "This is the one I want...I hope we can get along with each other."
The turtle like Pokémon let out a happy cry and hugged my leg forcing me to smile. As my Grandfather handed me my Pokeballs and Pokedex I just knew that this was just the beginning of a great and wonderful journey...plus I the fact I could get one over on my raven haired rival was a plus.
