My name is Sakura Star. I am an 18 year old girl living in Tokyo, with my boyfriend, Ai in a small apartment. My hair is shoulder length and curly, falling down my back in waves the colour of autumn leaves. My eyes are a bright amethyst colour. Ai has white blond hair and green eyes. This is the story of how I became a Mew Mew.
I woke up on Wednesday to the sound of my phone playing Surfin' Bird as my alarm tone. I quickly sat up and rubbed my eyes, remembering the strange dream I had.
"Well don't you know about the bird? Well everybody's heard that the bird is the word!" I gently turned off the alarm, and tried to remember the dream.
I remember I was running from something I couldn't see. In front of me where shapes and as I got closer I realised they were the Mew Mews. They ran past me and as they started to fight my attacker, I felt a warm feeling in my heart. I looked down and realized with shock that my heart was glowing. The light spread, and soon my whole body was glowing with the silver light. I began to lift up, and soon I was floating above the floor. I felt a strong force go through me, and blacked out.
Back in my bedroom, I ran a hand through my hair. The dream was just one of many I had been having this past few weeks. Looking to my left, I suddenly noticed that I was going to be late for college. I quickly pulled on a stripy dress with long sleeves and a little lace at the edges. I laced up my knee length leather boots and grabbed my schoolbag, which contained my science textbooks and my art sketchbook. I walked through the kitchen, which contained Ai, who was eating cereal with a serious expression on his face. He looked at me and smiled.
"You look pretty today" he laughed
"Thanks" I replied, and kissed him on his cheek before leaving the house.
