Hinata fidgeted as Naruto looked at her. "What did you want to talk to me about?" he asked, glancing at the ramen shop.
"Well, I, umm, I wanted to, um, tell you, um, tell you that, um, that, um, I like you," Hinata half whispered, half said. Naruto blinked as Hinata stood there blushing and playing with the end of her jacket.
Naruto gave her a huge smile, "Of course, I like you too Hinata! And Iruka-sensei! And Kakashi-sensei! And-"
"N-no!" Hinata said, as she gripped the end of her jacket. Naruto's smile faded and he looked back at her. "I-I mean I really l-like you," she said, looking down at her jacket.
"Oh." Naruto looked away. "I'm sorry, Hinata, but I really like Sakura," he said. Hinata felt him quickly kiss her on the cheek, and hear him say, "But maybe I can like you too, Hinata," as he hurried down the street, leaving a very red Hinata behind.
