Pretty random Oneshot I wrote 'cause I was borred...I don't know how many mistakes are in there.
Fandom: Heroes
Pair: Sylar / Gabriel x Elle.
Don't own the characters. If I would, Elle wouldn't be dead.
Enjoy!
"What do you think about children?"
"Children?" He stopped reading the newspaper, letting it down instead and gave her a long glace over his glasses.
She was standing a few meters in front of him, preparing some salad. Whoever saw them like this would have no choice but thinking of a pretty normal, happy couple that happened to live together. Nothing special.
"Don't you think, it is a bit... early, talking 'bout that?"
"I didn't say I want some right now, idiot." She shock her head, pointing to the pan next to her and sending a little bolt to it, grilling the meatballs instantly. "Don't even know if I myself ever want some. I was just asking for your opinion."
"Guess, I'd be no good with them."
"Well, I think you'd be a pretty good dad."
"Are you kidding me? I'd scare away all other kids."
"Doesn't matter." She looked up, now point in his direction. He didn't even blinked as she killed a fly right next to his head. "There'd be even there good sides, if you're asking me."
"You think?"
"Of course. If you'd scare them away, there'd be nobody left to bully ours."
"...You're sick."
"Said the serial killer."
She ignored it, continuing to prepare the dinner. "You're wrong. I'm sure children would love you."
"Why?"
"'cause you're pretty cool. Especially for kids. You meet a lot of people..."
"Most of them are dead now."
"Visit a lot places..."
"There's none to stay for long."
"And you can do a lot of things no other can. Well, except me, of course."
"Oh? Well, if I had a son, I'm pretty sure he'd do, too."
"Who says it'll be a boy?"
"You're telling me it'd be a girl?"
"Could be, couldn't it?"
She gave him a long smile, one he knew well. It meant that she wanted something and wouldn't stop until she had it.
"We'll never know without trying, will we?"
