(So this is my first XReader thing, so I don't know if its any good. It's pretty short but oh well! You play the thirteenth Diary user in Deus' Survival Game. After watching your friends die, you are forced to watch you lover Aru Akise die. I chose Akise cause he's my favourite character. ENJOY!)
"Aru...you need to stay away from me..."
"What? Why?"
"I'm being forced to take part in a death game."
"What?"
"If you continue to hang around me you could end up dead!"
"I don't care! I love you _! You won't face this alone!"
You turn quickly and bring your own knife up to block Yuno's. You curse under your breath and continue dodging the psycho girl. You look to your side quickly and noticed Aru heading for Yukii. You raise an eyebrow as Yuno stops, puts her knife in her back pocket and watches in abject horror as the albino boy presses his lips to Yukii's. You have to try not to laugh as Yuno screams. She charges at Aru, who prepares himself to take the attack. She pulls out her knife again, and runs at him.
"Oh shit!" You curse.
You put yourself between Yuno and Aru, taking a blow just below your ribs. You push Yuno away and collapse backwards into the boy behind you.
"_! No!" He cried.
"I'm...fine...get to...Yukii!" You smile.
He nods, and gently puts you down. He turns and walks towards Yuno, while you go limp so she won't come back to finish you. You watch helplessly, as Aru fights against Yuno and he seems to be winning, until he breaks her phone. The phone shatters, but Yuno doesn't swirl into oblivion, instead...she slits Aru's throat.
"AKISE!" Yukii calls from where ever he is.
You cry silent tears, not even daring to scream. The only person who ever cared for her, the only person you'd ever loved, is dead. You use your remaining energy to pull yourself to your feet, but you only get about halfway when Aru starts doing the same thing. You sigh with relief, he is alive despite his severed wind pipe. He starts typing on his phone, while heading towards Yukii and Yuno. They both notice him, and the pink haired girl springs into action. She throws her knife to the side and picks up a discarded axe. You gasp and try to run forward to warn him, but you never even take more than three steps when Yuno's axe lodges itself into the already deep cut. You look away, as your loves head rolls off his severed neck. After a second of unbearable silence, you scream.
"ARU!" You shriek.
You scream until your throat gets raw. Once your grief has subsided, it gives way to pure, white hot anger. You turn to Yuno, almost growling. You picked up your fallen knife.
"YOU BITCH! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!" You screamed.
You bring your knife round again and again, making attempt after attempt to kill the other girl.
"COME AT ME, WHORE!" Yuno shouts back.
In one last attempt, you throw all caution to the wind and go straight for Yuno's heart. In your blind anger, you don't notice Yuno grab your wrist and disarm you. When you come back to yourself, Yuno was pointing the knife at you.
"Well, 13th. Any last words?" She sneers.
"Quite a few, actually." You turn to Yukii. "You, I hope becoming God is worth killing your only friends. This is all your fault...YOU BASTARD!"
With that last remark, Yuno plunges the knife into the your heart. The last thing you hear, is the other girl's insane laughter.
"Why me? Surely there are other girls who would make you happier?"
"Possibly, however I doubt any of them would be able to keep up with my train of thought. You, on the other hand, can."
"So you want me for my ability to follow your erratic thought pattern?"
"No. You have so much more than that."
