She hated it, working hard and getting nowhere. Always being the brain behind the action. Helping the famous Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, always being overshadowed.
She hated being an unknown.
That's why she loved this place. Warm sands, vacationer's courage, and relaxation.
The rays shone down on her.
She enjoyed being in the sunlight, for once.

He hated it. Lies. Masks. Cunning. Betrayal. Being a Slytherin was too difficult sometimes. The manor was enormous, ornate with marbles and stones; yet empty, cold, and distant. Just like his family.
He hated being alone.
That's why he longed to be here, every year. Soft sands and sounds of laughter. A paradise oblivious to his reality.
The sun beat down on him.
Warmth. He embraced it.

Noticing a familiar face, the curly-haired girl approaches him, surprised by this rare encounter.
The pale boy watches the brown-haired girl, surprise masked by indifference.
She watches him, a small, yet unsure smile on her face.
He pats the spot beside him, so she sits down. For the first time, he grins; she playfully nudges him.
They bask in the sun, welcoming its heat.
It finally seems they have something in common all along.
