Mukuro silently stalked through the cold, dark, empty graveyard. The pale moonlight highlighting the still, grey tombstones. Mukuro would usually stop and admire the creepy location, but tonight he had other things on his usually quiet mind. He stopped at a small cross-shaped granite tombstone and gazed at it sadly. He reached out, rested his hand on the rough top, and sighed. "Why did you have to die?" He asked, secretly hoping for an answer. The icy wind whistled in reply. He sat down, his back to the cold stone, and looked at the bright stars, as if remembering something important. "I didn't even get to tell you," He closed his eyes and murmured.
"I love you."
He sat there awhile in silence before standing up. He looked at the tombstone one more time, running his gloved hand over the engravings as if memorizing them. He left, disappearing into the darkness leaving a single rose in his place.
The tombstone read the following words:
Here lies Sawada Tsunayoshi
