I know that there are other stories that need updating, but I keep getting ideas that I want to write and i put the others on the back burner to try the idea out. Some, like this one, works and gets a chapter, while other don't. I apologise to people that are waiting for a update for another story. Thank you for not getting angry. I do intend on update my other stories, but I get distracted easily. Now that's that out of the way, here's the result of my latest distraction

A ninja's life is one that is filled with dangers. Every day could be their last and yet, they wake up day after day to do their duty. From enemy ninjas to training accidents, there are a near infinite number of ways a ninja's career could end. One of the rarer ways is through retirement, but this story is about the other rare way. Very few think about how precise a ninja have to be when performing a jutsu. Use too little or too much chakra and the jutsu will fail with varying results, from embarrassing to deadly. Even having a single finger out of place will affect the result. While the mistake this young ninja didn't kill him, it did end his shinobi career. Confused? You'll see what I mean. Here is the story of the shinobi turned kunoichi, Naruto Uzumaki, or as she's known as now, Naruko Namikaze.

Naruto was a student at the Academy, a school for hopeful children to become ninjas. He was the dead last for multiple reasons. One of the reasons is the time he spent pulling pranks instead of studying. In fact, his dumbest and most dangerous jutsu is the Sexy jutsu. This is a variation of the transformation jutsu. Unfortunately, Naruto was about to make a mistake. It was a typical day for Naruto. He woke up, got dress and painted the Hokage Mountain. He was caught and dragged to the Academy by his teacher, Iruka-sensei. When they got there, Iruka-sensei gave the class an assignment, perform the transformation jutsu. Nearly everyone blamed Naruto for the extra work they had to do. Eventually it was Naruto's turn. He was going pull a prank on Iruka-sensei using his Sexy Jutsu. However, as he thought about the reaction his teacher would have, he failed to notice that he messed up the hand seal for the technique. "Transform!" With a shout, a cloud of smoke blinded everyone. They heard a gasp and some were pushed over as someone ran past them. After the smoke cleared, the class saw that Naruto was gone.
"Naruto, come out" yelled Iruka. When he didn't answer, he continued. "If you don't come out, I will find you a drag you out". Again, no answer. "Fine, Kiba, do you think you could?" with a nod, the young boy started sniffing the air before point at a desk in the back.
"Someone that smells almost like Naruto is over there," said Kiba with a frown. "I can't place it, but something is different".
"Hinata, could you please confirm Kiba's statement?" asked Iruka before he added. "Unless Naruto wants to come out"
"Hai," Hinata said as she performed the seals to activate her clan's doujutsu, byakugan. "there is someone with Naruto-kun's chakra signature where Kiba pointed, but," Hinata squirted to make sure she was seeing things correctly. "Oh"
"What do you do mean by Oh?" asked a worried Iruka.
"Ano, Iruka-sensei," stuttered Hinata. "Could you ask the rest of the class to wait outside?"
"Why, Hinata?" asked Iruka. Hinata refused to answer and Iruka knew she was going to say anything until the room was clear. "Okay, you heard Hinata. Everyone will wait outside while we solve this". there was a couple complaints, but everyone left without a fight. "Okay, what is the problem, Hinata?". Hinata still didn't answer and walked past Iruka. she went to the desk Naruto was hiding at. Iruka heard parts of a conversation, but politely waited for Hinata to finish. He was proud of Hinata. Normally she would faint when she got that close to her not-so-secret crush.
"Iruka, you can come here now," said Hinata softly. Iruka walked over to the desk and looked under the table. To his surprise, he didn't see the familiar face of his blond student. Looking back at him was a young blond female.
"Naruto?" asked a disbelieving Iruka. At the blond's nod, he shook his head. "Please tell me this is a prank".
"I can't turn back," said the female Naruto. "I've tried".
"I'll take you to Hokage-sama," said Iruka as he picked up Naruto. "At least you're not stuck in your Sexy Jutsu form." This got a giggle out of the young girl. "Hinata, tell Mizuki that he's in charge. If anyone ask, tell them that Naruto and I had to see the Hokage". Without waiting for the girl to respond, he leapt out the window and ran across the rooftops toward the Hokage Tower. Deciding to not bother with the receptionist, he ran up the tower and entered the Hokage's office through the window.
"Iruka, what are you doing here?" asked Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, before he noticed the blond female. "And who is this?"
"Well," started Iruka before he trailed off. He knew that the Third saw Naruto as a grandson. So it was really hard to tell him about his new granddaughter. Thankfully, Naruto saved him.
"It's me, Jii-san," said Naruto before clarifying. "Naruto. I messed up the Sexy Jutsu".
"Only you could do something like that," said Hiruzen, shaking his head. "Follow me".
"Where are we going?" asked Naruto. Iruka was also wondering, but didn't say anything.
"The hospital," said Hiruzen.
"Why are we going there?" asked Naruto.
"We need to know if this is a complete transformation," said Hiruzen. "I mean if you somehow manage to completely change into a female or if you're still partly male".
"Oh," said Naruto with a nod. Both Hiruzen and Iruka both faceplanted at his next statement. "I don't feel anything down there if that's what you're asking".
"It's more complicated than that, Naruto," yelled Iruka. "Not only is a female's body different from a male on the outside, there are also differences interally".
"Correct," said Hiruzen as he walked through the hospital doors. "Also we may figure out a way to change you back if we know what we're working with".
"Hokage-sama," said a nurse, bowing. "We have prepared a room for you".
"Thank you," said Hiruzen with a nod. "come on, Naruto".
"I'm going to go back to the Academy," said Iruka. "If there's a problem, let me know". With that, he disappeared with a shunshin, much to the chargin of the hospital staff. Hiruzen chuckled as he heard a janitor complain about shinobi making a mess.
'I know how you feel,' thought Hiruzen as he thought about the mess Jiraya made when he leapt through a close window. "Hello Nobutoshi,"
"Greetings, Hokage-sama," said Nobutoshi as he closed the door. "What seems to be the problem?"
"Naruto here somehow change his sex," answered Hiruzen.
"No, I changed my gender," said a confused Naruto.
"Sex and gender, while often used interchangeably, are two different things," answered Nobutoshi. "Sex is the more physical aspect, being the stuff that is between your legs and other stuff, while gender is more mental. Gender is what you identify as while sex is what you are. For example, while you might have change your sex to female, mentally you still refer to yourself as male, which would be your gender"
"I think I understand," said Naruto with a confused look on her face.
"Don't worry," said Nobutoshi while chuckling. "It's pretty confusing. In fact, I had a patient that said he was a basketball." This got a laugh from the young blond.
"You're joking," said Naruto as she calmed down.
"No, unfortunately I'm not," said Nobutoshi, now smiling. "He told me that there were over fifty different genders".
"What, fifty?" exclaimed a surprised Naruto.
"Yep," confirmed Nobutoshi before he got serious. "Now I need you to strip"
"Why?" asked a slightly red faced Naruto.
"First, I'm going to do an external examination then a internal one using my chakra,"

(I'm too lazy to write the full examination, so just use your imagination. Naruto is confirmed to be a complete female, both external and internal. The only way she's not a female is mentally because she still consider herself a male.)

"Naruto, are you alright?" asked Hiruzen as they left the hospital.
"I'll be fine," said Naruto. "I'll be the first female Hokage, believe it!"
"You sound just like your mother," said Hiruzen with a sad smile.
"My mother?" said a shocked Naruto. "Could you..."
"I'm sorry," interrupted Hiruzen, getting a frown from Naruto. "I'll tell you about her when you reach Chunnin"
"And my father?"
"Jounin".
"Alright," she cheered, "You better get ready to tell me. I'll be Jounin before you know it"
"I don't doubt it," said Hiruzen as they continued to walk. "Do you want me to join you at the Academy?"
"But classes should be done," said a baffled Naruto.
"Normally, yes," said Hiruzen. "But I asked Iruka to keep the class there"
"Why?" asked Naruto.
"So they can have all night to adapt to the new you," answered Hiruzen. "It will be a big change, not only for you, but for them as well.
"Okay," said Naruto quietly before nodding her head with a determined look on her face. As they approached the classroom, they heard Iruka speaking.
"Now I know you don't enjoy being stuck here," said Iruka, "but I've been told that Naruto is out of the hospital and is almost here". after he said that, Hiruzen told Naruto to stay out here and knocked on the door. "Speak of the devil," was heard as the door opened.
"Hokage-sama," said a surprised Iruka. "Where's Naruto?"
"Waiting outside," answered Hiruzen. "You're probably wondering why I kept you here. Naruto is fine, but he have gone through a major, albeit accidental, change"
"What did he do this time?" asked Kiba with a sigh. "Knowing him, it will be surprising"
"It was indeed," said Hiruzen with a nod. "Now let me introduce you to Naruto Uzumaki, konoichi-in-training". This got everyone's attention. They all stared as a female Naruto walked into the classroom. The shocked stillness of the room was broke by Kiba laughing.
"Only you can manage something like this".
"Nothing is impossible if your name is Naruto," said Shikamaru with a yawn.
"Well, nothing expect leftover ramen," joked Chouji.
"You don't mind?" asked a surprised Naruto. To the class's surprise, it was Sasuke that answered.
"As long as you don't turn into another fangirl, I don't care," he said with a shrug.
"Yeah, right," yelled Naruto. "Male or female, I'll still beat you,"
"Last time I checked," said Sasuke with smirk. "I have yet to lose to you". Naruto was about to yell back when Ino spoke up.
"I'm sorry, but can we call you something else?" asked Ino. "I mean I consider Naruto a loud, annoying, but well-meaning boy, not a loud, annoying, but well-meaning female"
"I call that Ino," mumbled Shikamaru. Ino heard him and hit him.
"Hmm," said Naruto, thinking. "How about Naruko?" Iruka heard this and spitted out the water he was sipping. This got the class's attention as they turned to stare at him.
"Sorry," said Iruka as he patted his chest. "That is the nickname some people gave the female form of your Sexy Jutsu".
"Wait," said Naruto before a shiver went up her spine. "They weren't doing 'that' while thinking about my Sexy Jutsu form, were they?"
"How would I know?" yelled Iruka. "If you want to be called Naruko, go ahead. I just found it amusing".
"Okay," said Naruto, staring at her classmates. "Naruko Uzumaki will be the first female to become Hokage!"
"I don't doubt you," said Hiruzen before he addressed the class. "The males can leave. I need to speak to the females". the males left quickly, happy to go home. The female was upset for two reasons. One was that they had to stay, of course. The other was that the fangirls couldn't stalk Sasuke. "I understand I'm asking a lot, but could one of you please teach Naruko about being a female?"
"What do you mean, Hokage-sama?" asked Sakura.
"Tell her about periods, how to change bras, and stuff that a male his age wouldn't know about females," said Hiruzen. "Now any takers?" Hinata was about to raise her hand when Ino spoke up.
"She can stay with me," said Ino. "The Yamanaka, Nara, and Akimichi are laid back, so her energetic personality won't bother us. Also with three clans, she'll have more females to help her".
"Any objections?" asked Hiruzen. Hinata wanted to argue, but agreed that Naruko would cause problems with the stoic Hyuugas. "Very well, Naruko, please follow Ino home". With that, he left.
"Come on, Naruko," said Ino, pulling on her arm. "I bet my dad is waiting for me, even though he was told we were being held".
"Are you really okay with this?" asked Naruko, worried that they just said it to please the Hokage.
"Of course," said Ino with a roll of her eyes. "However if you try dating Sasuke, there'll be trouble".
"I'd sooner date that old fossil, Danzo," said Naruko. "He makes me feel uncomfortable"
"Yeah," said Ino. "My dad said that he doesn't fully trust Danzo, but have nothing to hold against him"
"Ino!" called out a blond man.
"Speaking of whom," said Ino as she waved at the man. "That's my father, Inoichi"
"Who's your friend?" asked Inoichi, not remember any females that looked like that.
"She's the reason we had to stay," said Ino after hugging her father. "Meet Naruko Uzumaki, formerly Naruto Uzumaki"
"Troublesome," said Inoichi after a short pause. "Why is she here?"
"She need someone to teach her how to be a female," explained Ino.
"And you offered?" asked Inoichi, getting a nod in response. "I'll tell Noriko to set another plate".
