In England, a dark force makes its way to a building known as Deus Ex Machina Industries. The DEM Wizards did their best to fight off this evil that is coming at them, but they were easily defeated.

"What are you?" a DEM Wizard asked.

"I am... Makuta," Teridax responds by grabbing him and snarling at his face before tossing him aside. "Tell your boss that he's in for a fight of his life."

Getting into the elevator, he reaches the top floor where the founder of the DEM, Isaac Westcott, is waiting for him.

"So you were waiting for me to come," Teridax said with no surprise on this face to realize the latter has anticipated for him to come.

"Yes, I did," the latter grinned as usual. "I assumed you know who I am?"

"Yes, I do."

"Then you know what I could do?"

"Yes, I know, but it doesn't matter. I'm more powerful than you can possibly imagine, Inverse Spirit of Origin."

"We'll just see about that."

Without a word, Westcott summons one of his three Demon Kings which is a demonic flower called Athiel to spray particles of darkness towards his opponent. Teridax, despite being aware that this attack can't be blocked, manages to avoid getting hit by using his dodge ability. Making his next move, the Makuta attempts to strike Westcott with his Staff of Darkness, but the latter is able to dodge his attacks in return. Unfortunately for him, he found an opening to strike him.

Not giving up easily to someone who is quite better than him, Westcott uses another Demon King which is a demonic tree known as Belial to rewrite reality. In fact, he changes the setting of their battle from the DEM building to a volcanic island.

"So you chose to die in the volcano rather than inside your building, Isaac Westcott," Teridax smirked at what his opponent is doing. "It doesn't matter to me where you would die. All that matters is that I take down a copycat like you."

Using his Staff of Darkness once again, he uses the shadows nearby to produce his Shadow Hand to grab him, but Westcott dodges it by jumping to the air. However, Teridax produces an extra Shadow Hand to grab him from behind and slam him down to the ground. He uses the power of disintegration to destroy his opponent once and for all, but the DEM director quickly got up to avoid the oncoming attack.

This does not mean he's safe. In fact, Teridax teleported behind him to strike him down his staff once again, but with Westcott armed with Belial, he's able to block the attack with no problem. In fact, he's using one of its powers that allows him to shapeshift his body into any level. This also gives him superhuman strength, speed, endurance, and senses.

The Makuta is not fazed by how the mage turned Inverse Spirit of Origin has this much power. With his 42 Kraata powers, he is sure to have him beat.

Having exchanged blows with him to see that he's able to use his speed and senses to know where he is striking him, he has found an opening to jab his staff straight at him. Now that he's a few inches away, it's time for him to end the battle.

"Time to end this," Teridax summons another Shadow Hand to grab Westcott and absorbs him into his own being, becoming more powerful than ever. "Now, let's see how will the Toa handle the new power I will unleash on them."
