Alright people, this is a story about Lara Croft's Doppelganger. No, she doesn't have an official name (believe me, I've checked many sources, but she does have many nicknames). I thought this would be a cool story seeing as how Doppie *giggle* (no, this isn't the name I'm giving her) is so totally bad ass with her shadow powers and such. And Predators are...well, let's face it, who doesn't love the Yautja race? This is my first story on here, I accept (constructive) criticism and I love to hear new ideas. Read, review, tell me what you think. I hope you all like it =)

I am a shadow. I am nothing but a duplicate of my creators' enemy. I was created simply to follow orders, to fight, and most of all: to kill. I did all of those things against my will. A spell that made me do the unthinkable when I did not want to. As ironic fate would have it, my creators' enemy freed me from the spell, and I now have the power to make my own path in this world that I still know so little about. I owed my life and my freedom to Lara Croft. The enemy of my enemy was indeed my friend. After I made sure Natla had indeed suffered, I went back to Lara. I saw the look of relief in her face as I told her that she had died in a pool of Eitr. I begged her and Zip for forgiveness. For I had murdered their friend against my will. Zip was not keen at all at first, after Lara had explained and threatened his employment all at once, he finally muttered the words: "I forgive you. Thank you for getting rid of Natla." In the following weeks, Lara taught me many histories of the world. What her experience with Natla and Amanda were in the past and why they regarded each other as they did. One thing Lara did tell me that still peaks my interest to this day was about one of the lost islands of Atlantis. Many years prior to my creation, Lara had fought another Doppelganger of herself. Intent on finding out more about this "original" Doppelganger, I set out to the remains of that lost island, hoping to find a clue about my own history. I wanted to know how I was really made, for Natla kept the information from me. I wanted to know if I was more than just a menacing "copy". Either outcome, I just wanted the truth. To this day I still thank Lara for giving me immunity to that evil spell. Ohk Eshivar no more. I am a slave to no one.
