I be back, bearing a tale.
Just a few things
1. This is based on a friend's experience/my everyday life
2. Italics are the usual emphasis adders
As I practically leaped off the school bus, thanking the driver of course, I darted down the street to my house. I was about to burst if I didn't get online soon. Today is meant to be MePlace's big 5 year anniversary.
At that moment I felt my body being forced forward. It was only when I finally reached the ground that I realised I had been too caught up in my thoughts to see the raised piece of footpath right in front of me, resulting in the most embarrassing fall of all time. Luckily the bus had already left and nobody was around, or else I may as well have yelled "Commence the teasing!". I let out a slight chuckle before whispering to myself "It's not like it'd be any different to the usual teasing I put up with".
"Wait a second," I thought to myself. "I'm still on the ground". I got up awkwardly and walked the rest of the 4 minutes home.
At Home
When I got to the door I banged wildly on the fly screen mesh, all the while calling out for my mum. All I could think about was MePlace, and CDGoldie. CDGoldie was like my best friend, beside the fact that we'd never met before or that I didn't even know his name. He dressed his avatar well though, so that means he's stylish. He's always nice to people online. I really wish I knew him, he just seems so fun to be around!
I tapped again on the mesh as mum would've already opened the door within the 20 seconds I've been out here. Almost directly after stopped speaking I heard a loud snore. Sleeping again, I should've known. This is why I need keys to the house. My only option was to yell. "MU-UM!" I then heard a groan followed by footsteps. When she got to the door I greeted her in my usual random way. "Hewwo Mummeh!" She giggled sleepily at my baby talk and unlocked the door.
As soon as I stepped inside I thought to myself "Mission: MePlace. Now." With that, I darted into my bedroom and sank into my comfortable computer chair.
The booting up process seemed to go on for a decade. When I finally reached my desktop, I clicked on the web icon and off I went. Luckily, my internet speed was relatively quick and I was on the server in no time. All I had to to was open my online friends list and pray that he was already online. So I did just that. I positioned my cursor over the button and closed my eyes before clicking to reveal the pop-up menu showing all my MePlace friends. I opened my eyes slowly, only to see...
Tiniest cliffy in the history of cliffies.
What did you think?
Thank you to ItsSterFrySuckas for unknowingly giving me inspiration to finish this chapter.
I tried to make it long. Honestly, I did.
That is seriously how I would greet my mother.
This chapter, including AN, stretches over 2 pages in OpenOffice.
I feel as if I'm leaving something out.
Reviews will be much appreciated :).
