-1A/N: This came about because I needed to write. I do not own Narnia, I wish I did though.
A Girl Who's Right
Tirian couldn't help but gaze at Queen Lucy the Valiant. She was an absolute beautiful woman who, even though he had only met her a few minutes ago or maybe a few hours (no one could tell in the True Narnia), he knew that she already had his heart. The only question was, did she feel the same way?
He noticed that Lucy was staring off into the sky, she seemed to be waiting for something or someone. He slowly gathered his courage, and walked over to her.
"Your Majesty, may I join you?" He asked, as his voice shook from his nerves.
"Of course you may your Majesty." She said as she smiled up at him. He sat down beside her, not sure where to go from here.
"Queen Lucy…"
"Please, it's just Lucy."
"Okay, Lucy, may I ask you a question?"
"Yes, you can."
"I was wondering, so many people said that you and Caspian liked each other when the two of you traveled on the Dawn Treader with your royal brother and cousin. And I was wondering if that was true?" He looked down as he asked this. He didn't want to see this beautiful angel's face, especially if it had a look of pain on it.
"Caspian and I were just friends. Very good friends, but only that. If it was anything more than that, then it was just a crush. Caspian and I went through a lot of things together, and it made a bond of friendship that never can be broken. Out of respect for me, he gave me his cabin and stayed in another place with both Edmund and Eustace. For me, when I first meet Caspian he was maybe my age at the time. When I saw him again, I was almost a year older and he was three years older. I think most of the crew wanted the love that we had… have for each other to be more than a friendship, but it never happened." Lucy laughed a little, and put her fingers under Tirian's chin to lift it so that he could look her in the face. They both smiled.
"Lucy, what about in your world? Did you ever find anyone?"
"No, and probably to both of my brother's relief. I could just imagine what they would do. Peter would become High King Peter the Magnificent as he made sure that this person was okay for me to be with. And when I was queen in Narnia, I had almost as many suitors as Susan had."
"I can honestly believe that."
"Tirian, something else is on your mind. What is it?"
"I don't know how to start."
"Just say it. Don't worry about how I might respond."
"Lucy, when I first saw you, I was entranced by you. Not just by your beauty, but by the quietness and strength that I could tell was in you. I haven't been able to get you out of my mind. I feel that you are an amazing and strong woman who isn't afraid to say what you think. And…. I was hoping that maybe you would feel the same way for me as I feel for you." Lucy looked at him a little shocked and smiled.
"You are a great king of Narnia who never gave up on it or on Aslan. I also sensed a hidden strength in you. And to be honest, when I first saw you I was also entranced."
"Really?" Tirian said, almost sounding like a child. Lucy just smiled at him.
"Yes."
Tirian couldn't stop himself. He leaned forward to close the small space that was between them and placed his lips on hers. She surprised him again by kissing him back. This kiss was one not of lust, but of love. It would carry on forever in this amazing land known as the True Narnia.
