I song I used for this is Janet Jackson's "Come Back To Me" (which is one of my favorite song). The reason I used this somg is because I thought it fitted Amanda's situation perfectly plus I hate the fact James died so I brought him back :)

Looking through my old drawer
came across the letter you wrote

Rain fell softly on Amanda's window. The droplets shone like expensive jewels. The clock read five past four and Amanda lied awake in bed, reading a letter that James wrote to her back in 2004. She kept every single letter that he had wrote to her, good or bad

Amanda would grieve over her love every day and night but this morning was different. It was the day that he had died.
She remembered his warm smile, melodic voice and laugh. Amanda also reminisced about how they shared sorrow, joy, pleasure and pain

Amanda's closest friends would tell her that James would be with her in spirit but she wanted to be with him, to be able to talk with him and enjoy his presence. To Amanda, it felt as if he had left her yesterday, when it was only five years ago.

She got out of bed and draped her white silk gown over her. She walked towards a small cupboard where three white candles rested on. There was also a picture of Amanda and James on the table. She took a match from the drawer and struck it. Amanda set the candle alight and blew the match out. She watched the candle burn slowly. Warm tears started to drip down her cheeks

She cried like she never did before. The feelings of pain and longing overwhelmed her. The only person, who gave her happiness and understanding, is gone. Amanda knew that empty spot could never be filled.

After all the turmoil she went through to find Avalon and Natla's lies, Amanda felt frustrated. Despite Avalon being a myth, she knew that her beloved was in a peaceful place.

"Amanda" she could hear someone call through her loud cry. The voice sounded awfully familiar. She quieted down. Could it be? She thought

Amanda wiped her eyes and turned around. That person walked out from the shadows and bent down to Amanda's level. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Amanda saw those chocolaty brown eyes that she adored; For once she looked straight in to his eyes and not in to his dark shades.

"James, is that you?" she whispered cupping her hands into his face. His smile had told her everything she needed to know. They gave one long embrace to each other that was five years overdue.

He kissed her cheek and said "Yes sweetheart, it's me. I promise from this moment on, I'll never ever let you go again"
