Fireflies and Starlight
The whole gang was over at Gabriella's house since her mom was out of town for the weekend. They had all sat down to watch a movie, The Derby Stallion. After about 30 minutes Gabriella stood up
"I'll be back in a few minutes." She announced
"Bri, you okay." Troy asked looking concerned
"Yeah Troy, I'm fine." With that she leaned down gave him a kiss on the cheek, then ran up stairs.
Okay, that was weird." Jason said as everyone returned to watch the movie.
About an hour later the movie had ended, and Gabriella still wasn't back yet.
"Troy, I think you should go see if Gabi's okay." Taylor told Troy.
With that Troy went up stairs to find Gabriella. He went and knocked on her bedroom door and no one answered, so Troy went in. He noticed Gabriella outside on her balcony.
"Bri. Bri, you okay." Troy asked while getting no reply. As he got closer he noticed she had her MP3 player on. So he went up behind her and snaked his arms around her waist.
"What… oh Troy. What's wrong." Gabriella asked.
"I was worried about you Bri, you've been up here for an hour. What are you looking at." Troy replied.
"Look troy, what do you see." Gabriella asked him.
"A bunch of little annoying bugs." Troy replied with a grin.
"No, look closely." She replied calmly.
"Bri, what are you getting at." Troy replied frusterated now.
"Troy there more than just bugs, there fireflies." Gabriella told him.
" Your point." Troy asked
" My point, really I don't know." Gabriella said. " But…" she continued to say as Troy opened his mouth to say something. "But their so beautiful. The lights are their wasy of communicationing with each other. But, its like their putting on their own light show, just of me. The light up at different times almost like music would, if it were lights."
"Why Bri, I never thought of it like that." Troy said stunned.
"Well most people don't Troy." Gabriella said slightly amused.
"Well, I never thought about fireflies but I have thought about the stars.
" The stars. The wildcat superstar likes looking at the stars."she asked.
"Oh haha." Troy said while starting to tickle her waist.
"Okay Okay. Troy stop, I'm sorry for teasing you." Gabriella said out of breath.
" I like the stars if you must know because their so calming. If I'm really stressed out I'll just go and look at the stars." Troy said slightly embarrassed.
"Troy, its fine that you like the stars, there's nothing wrong with that. Its sweet." Gabriella said.
" You want to know what I think is sweet?" Troy asked with a smile.
" Oh what would that be."she asked.
" You" was Troy only reply as he leaned in and gave her a gentle but passionate kiss.
