Author's note: Well, as a writer I have always found poetry intriguing and enjoying to write. It is quite a challenge, yet it is one I happily embrace. So, I thought I'd work up a little poem. This is mainly dedicated to my wonderful friend Anniepopokios, a lover of all things Bleach(especially things of the Kira and Gin type). She pretty much inspired me to write this! Basically, this poem is a few words of Gin Ichimaru as he leaves the Gotei 13. This is directed towards his assistant captain, who seems to have quite a trust in him. I hope you enjoy this. It's a little too late
For your words to reach
These thoughts in my mind
Though your hopes I did teach
It's a little too late
To bring me from this choice
I've made up my mind
I've silenced your voice
Don't think you're abandoned
Don't think I don't care
Don't I've forgotten
Left you standing there
It's not that I've lost
All hope left inside
But it's time to start over
A change in the tide
This reality has shattered
Been living to long
Now why not quake the silence
How can waking up be wrong?
So don't think I'm cold
And don't think I'm cruel
Don't live on my words
Don't let them take rule
Don't cherish the moments
I've left them alone
Forget all about me
Find a new purpose
And find a new Home
