Brittany was never good at spanish, all the letters just kinda jumbled up in her head and when she said the words out loud they just sounded stupid. The only time the language actually made sense was when Santana would explain it to her. Funny how it was the same with math, and english for that matter. What i was getting at was that Santana had a way with Brittany.

Brittany's mom went as far as calling the latina "The Brittany Whiperer". She had first said it during one of their many afternoon study sessions.

"Ok B, Volver...what does that mean"

"Its the kind of car my mom drives" She beamed.

"No Britt, thats a Volvo" Santana laughed "Volver means "To return"

"Right!" The blonde laughed "So if I wanted to say 'You returned' I would say volvio?"

"Thats it B you got it."

Brittany's mom had been watching the two together. Just like she had been for the last 10 years, Santana patiently helping her daughter, if it wasn't for her Brittany probably wouldn't have even made it to high school. She was always so calm and gentle with , never Brittany never getting mad or laughing like the other students or teachers at Mc Kinley had. Instead she smiled softly and gently corrected her.

"Santana darling, you have got something special" Ms. Pierce began "You are like The Brittany Whisperer or something"

"Mom, we aren't even whispering, you should get your ears checked"

Slowly but surely with the help of Santana, Brittany began to understand spanish. She began using it in their everyday talks. Using prases like "No me gusta" when Rachel would suggest doing a Broadway number for glee club, to "Ayy dios mio" when Rachel actually sang those songs in glee club. Santana thought it was the most adorable thing in the world.

Things between them changed when they started high school. They still shared everything, shoes, clothes, secrets, test answers you name it, but they started sharing something on a new level entirely. Kisses.

It started out innocently enough, Brittany wanted to practice on Santana, and the latina was the only one she trusted not to make fun of her if she did it wrong. Santana didn't want to at first, but then Brittany did that thing. You know the when she sticks her bottom lip out and furrows her brow furiously. Ya, well that was Santana's kryptonite, and soon she found herself with her lips moulded to Brittany's. Moving together as if they were magnets. Innocent kisses turned to innocent make outs. Brittany had gotten to second base with Santana before she had even kissed boy, and Santana was hooked. It became just another thing they did, like when they would link pinkies, or when Santana would lazily lean into the blonde resting her head on her shoulders. It stayed innocent enough until Brittany said it. Something that made even Santana shudder.

It was during one of their many make out sessions in Santana's bedroom. Britteny Spears was playing softly in the background when things began to heat up, hands nervously tugging at the hems of t-shirts for the first time. Santana had been laying on top of Brittany, hands trailing over her toned stomach down to the waist band of her shorts. Thats when she said it.

"Te quiero" The blonde whispered into Santana's collar bone.

"Wha-What? B. Do you know what you just said" The latina asked frantically pulling away.

"Of course San" She smiled lazily " It means I want you"

Apparently Brittany had been paying attention in Spanish today, because Santana hadn't even taught her that one yet.

"Are you sure that's what you want B? I'm not sure its a good idea"

Chocolate brown eyes desperately searching for a hint of hesitance, only to be met with perfect pools of blue filled with nothing but swells of confidence and trust. Santana's eyes fell to Brittany's lips, trying her best to resist. Thats when Brittany stuck out her lower lip.
