Yo! This is my first ever try at Poetry and Angst. I got the idea after seeing the end of the'Now and Then, Here and There' anime, which is one of the saddest, makes you want to cry, anime that I've ever seen. It follows the Perspective of Shu as he heads back home after being sent back to his world. If you want more detail about the anime, then say so in the reviews, or PM me. I'll take any reviews, even constructive pointing out to help me become a better writer, as long as it is not a flame. Okay, now that I've made this longer than it really is, here is the Poem at last! And it is my first ever Oneshot as well.
The Tears Flow Freely
As I walk home from my living nightmare
And reflect on all that happened there
All the blood and all the killing
That took away my innocent feeling
A world torn apart by meaningless war
All because of the wants of a boar
The Tears do not flow freely
The Tears do not flow freely
It's hard to believe I survived all that
Even though I lost a lot in combat
The horror of war is very real
So many things that I cannot heal
Yet even with all that I went through
Even when I lost Lala-Ru
The Tears will not flow freely
The Tears will not flow freely
I finally make it to the front door
With both my body and my heart sore
I see my mother, her name is Lynn
And she asks me, "Where have you been?"
And when I see the concern on her face
And feel her pull me into her embrace
…The Tears at last flow freely…
…The Tears…at last…flow…freely…
