A/N: Because the Hummelman family would the most cool and badass family ever, I had to write this after having re-watched the Behind the Scenes of "The Substitute". Also, you can see this both as a past-MPreg or not :D And I know, I should have found other names for the kids, but they're way too like their parents.
Summary: Kurt never thought this would be his life, but he'd never want it any other way.
When Kurt was sixteen, he was pretty sure that his family would be living in New York and his husband would be some co-star from Broadway and his kids little stars-in-the-making. However, at twenty-eight, Kurt found himself living in Cleveland, Ohio, and his husband was a singer that had seen Broadway only once in his life and just because there was "American Idiot The Musical". As for his two sons, they were little trouble makers especially the eldest that had taken everything from his husband, Noah Puckerman.
However, no matter how different his life had turned out to be, Kurt was unbelievably happy and he even loved when Noah would ditch him once a week to go see the football game with their two kids and Burt. Kurt usually used that day to go to the SPA with Mercedes or for doing something "just as girly" as Noah loved to say.
Then there were the family dinners. Kurt loved them. He'd dress Christopher and Mark with nice clothes, brush their hair even though Mark had got a Mohawk "just like his daddy" and he'd even try to get Noah to dress in something different from jeans and t-shirt or flannel shirts. However, the only one that would actually like his clothes, was Christopher because he liked to please his papa even though he had to wear "strange stuff".
That evening was just another family dinner out at the Blue Point and they were eating their dinner when a kid a little older than Christopher but younger than Mark, came up to their table and pointed his chubby finger at Christopher.
"You have funny clothes."
Kurt looked at the little boy frowning. "Excuse me…" But he was cut off when the boy grabbed Christopher's bow tie and laughed.
Kurt was about to get up and start looking for the boy's parents when Mark got up from the sit and pushed the chubby boy making him fell flat on his ass.
"You can't talk to my brother like that." Mark pulled back his foot and kicked the boy in the shin. The boy started crying and Mark's lips curved into a smug smile Kurt had seen many and many times on Noah's face. "I'm the only one who can make fun of his clothes," he added.
The chubby kid quickly got up to his feet and ran away. Kurt was about to give his son a talk about not being rude especially to younger kids, but when he turned around, Noah was high-fiving Mark smirking proudly and they were both wearing the same expression of "I'm a badass and no one messes with what is mine."
Kurt rolled his eyes because really, that was totally Noah's son and, truth to be told, Kurt wouldn't have it any other way.
"Thanks Mark," Christopher said.
Kurt could still see his son's watery eyes, but there was a smile on his face too and he looked happy.
Mark patted Chris on the back, because "big guys don't hug each other" and said, "Just remember that you have to call me Puck."
Noah erupted into a loud laughter that made Kurt roll his eyes again.
