((A/N: I wrote this forever ago for my lovely friend Yellowierd0(she rocks X3) I only posted it on dA though. It's got slight anti-sasusaku and anti-narusaku, along with hints of SasuHina and KakaSaku(Yellowierd0-chan loves KakaSaku XD)

Enjoy!))

Thoughts

Sakura sighed, another boring day… she'd finished her tutoring with Tsunade for the day. Perhaps she could visit Ino-pig…? No… she was on a mission.

'It's not the same without Naruto…' it had only been eight months since the wannabe Hokage had left with Jireya and Sakura missed him…

Great… only about two years and a few more months to go before he came back…

Grand…

It gave her time to think though… about Sasuke, about Naruto, about herself…

Now that she truly had time to let it sink in it became more of a reality. It was a crush. Nothing more. Nothing less. She was a smart girl and without the many distractions that her previous personal life had caused… most all eleven through thirteen year old girls convince themselves it's love, because it's stronger than any other previous crush.

The answer to this strange phenomenon? Hormones…

She sighed once more, when she really thought about it… what did she like about Sasuke? He was cool… but he was cold… she denied it back then but he didn't like her like that, in fact the only feelings he'd showed her were ones of friendship… and she understood that.

…Especially when she noticed how his eyes lingered on Hyuuga girl. No one noticed, she wouldn't have either if she didn't take every chance she could to stare at his face.

It was ironic really, she was possibly the only girl in all of Konoha that wouldn't die to be his.

At this point she thought that perhaps she liked Naruto then, she'd always found him funny(though she'd deny it) and he was sweet to her. Most of the time what really annoyed her about him was his treatment of Sasuke.

…but… there was something she had forgotten to realize… and her mother had been kind enough to point it out.

Not all feelings were ones of romance. Life didn't revolve around romance. She lived how many years of her life without romance before she convinced herself it was love?

No. She didn't convince herself it was love, because it was love. She convinced herself she was in love, which she sadly, was not.

She loved them with all her heart, both Naruto and Sasuke. But she was not in love with either

She was snapped out of her thoughts when she realized she had reached Team Sevens training ground. Huh, who woulda thunk it… here she thought she was mindlessly wondering home…

"Sakura-chan?" she nearly jumped out her skin at the voice, turning around she came face to face with her former teacher.

"Kakashi-sensai?"

He smiled lightly, most people wouldn't be able to tell behind that mask of his, but she'd spent a significant amount of time with the man and knew his expressions easily. "What are you doing here Sakura-chan?"

She flushed slightly out of embarrassment. "Ah, I was heading home and…"

"-lost track of where you were heading?" she nodded a little redder than before.

Kakshi patted her on the head, "Your parents must be expecting you home though."

Sakura looked at her sensai for a moment before nodding, her cheeks still pink. But not from embarrassment this time…

Kakashi smiled again as she started to jog off, leaving a small "See you later Kakashi-sensai!" behind. Sakura was a good kid.

Not now. Not when she was still learning. Sakura smiled with flushed cheeks as she continued to her house… but maybe… maybe in a few years. When she was sure.
