Xena looked up at me expectantly.

"I have no more puddings for you," I said. The unicorn still looked at me. "Or carrots." She looked down, defeated.

"And you know I won't buy any for you."

"Fairygem," said a voice from behind me. I turned around to see Cyrus Drake. "I hope you're not going shopping again. This is the second time you've missed class for shopping."

"I'm not shopping," I said. "I was just trying to get Xena to quiet down. She thinks she's hungry."

"Get to class. I will be telling Professor Greyrose about this." I began to walk to the Ice School.

"Oh, Elizabeth!" Professor Greyrose exclaimed. "You came! Oh, what's this?" An owl flew in through the window with a letter. Her cheery expression drifted into fury. "I will be speaking to you later."

Greyrose summoned me after class.

"Yes, Professor?" I said innocently.

"Professor Drake informed me that you had intentions to skip class today to go shopping again. You know I'll have to punish you for this."

"But I wasn't shopping- I'm saving my gold!" I protested. "And I wasn't going to skip class! I was just running a bit late because Xena kept refusing to come. She wanted a snack." Greyrose looked at the note again.

"He warned me about this. Just for lying, I am taking away Xena for a month. As for the skipping class part, I'm not letting you leave your home except for school."

"What? No! You can't do that!" I shouted. Xena was angry, too, at the thought of leaving my side for a month.

"I can do it, since Cyrus has left me a seemingly endless list of rules you've broken. Get home. Xena, stay here," Greyrose ordered. I teleported home, infuriated. I hadn't broken any rules! Yesterday Drake thought I was skipping class, but really I was selling a treasure card two minutes before I was required to get to class.

I was at my Red Barn Farm and went to the barn with the rest of my pets. Queen Lucy, my dragon, flew up to me. I scratched her head.

"I know you're waiting for Xena. She's not coming. You'll have to wait a month. I got in trouble for something I didn't do." Lucy lashed her tail angrily. There was a flash of light by the world door. I went over to it. Dust rose from the ground and formed a giant serpent. It opened its mouth.

"Enronce," it said, "is my name." The dust reformed into two different people: me and some dude with round glasses and a lightning bolt- shaped scar on his forehead. The image of me spoke.

"Enronce will conquer the wizarding world. You and this boy are the only ones who can stop him. Good luck."

I had to stop Enronce? Who was this boy?
