I was skipping down the sidewalk, smiling at the world for this wonderful day. The sun shined through the clouds, begging for forgiveness of the sky. The tree's swayed slightly in the breeze, just happy to be in this world.
As I turned the corner a car. I slowed down and honked. It was Chad.
Chad. CDC. Chad Dylan Cooper. My best friend.
He had helped me get through the times of heartbreaking pain I went through when my dad left, my mom died, and my sister moved out. He comforted me, aided my every need. He would die for me, as I would for him. Little did he know that my devotion for him was more than a never ending friendship, but of the consistence love.
I was in love with his silky, windblown hair and his sexy Caribbean blue eyes. His warn out smile and his slick smirk. He was everything to me, the only one I had. He was all I needed, and I wouldn't be able to live without him.
I jumped into the car and talked to him about his day, staring into his deep blue eyes. He smirked.
"Losing yourself to me Munroe?"
More than he would ever know. More than anyone would ever know.
"In your dreams Cooper."
Our love is forbidden and will always be. He being part of a show of drama and pain and mine of hilarity and enjoyment. We can never be, and never will.
Except in my dreams.
My lovely, breathtakingly real dreams.
We ride into the horizon.
We sing to the stars.
We listen to the lullabies of the night.
We sleep in a blanket of love.
But only in my dreams.
Sorry that it was so short. I think I like it this short though. It makes a point.
