"I'm pregnant."
Caitlin chewed her lower lip as she waited for Barry's response. She had sort of blurted it out, he voice echoing around the Cortex. As a matter of fact she wouldn't be surprised if Harrison–actually, Harry–and Cisco heard it from where they were working in Cisco's office. But it was a big deal, so much more than she thought when she first got the news herself. She was elated but Barry...she wasn't sure.
Barry, who was hunched over his computer, whipped around to face her, the force of his speed causing the chair to spin around erratically until he stopped it, placing his hand on the counter. Caitlin smiled as his blue-green eyes shifted around in dizzyness, before he shook his head, focusing. He was silent for a long moment. A long tense moment that made Caitlin sure she was going to pass out, that Barry would break-up with her, that he'd leave her alone, that he'd..."Do you think my powers are genetic?" He asked.
And in that second Caitlin's heart soared, her worries flushing away. He wasn't upset. He wasn't going to leave her. He wanted her. Wanted them. "Y-you're okay with this?" She asked.
"Of course," Barry replied. He got up from his seat and took her hand in his. "You deserve this. We're going to be great parents, Cait." He beamed and kissed her. "I love you."
"I love you, too, Barry."
