Fruit
Prologue
Kairi
Sora...Sora...Help...I'm lost...Everything feels too...scary...
I glanced up at the star-shaped fruit hanging on the tree branch above. The sea dipped on the pure white sand as the lazy sun sat upon the horizon, its bright shades of orange, yellow, pink, red, and purple painting the sky. My stomach filled with butterflies.
Sora...I can't admit it...No...I can't tell you.
"Kairi, is that you?" Sora called from behind me.
I spun around, in shock. Could Sora tell I was thinking about him?
"Yes...why?" I mumbled.
Sora gazed at me, his eyes blurred, "Kairi, tomorrow morning, I have to leave."
My jaw dropped, "WHAT? Already? You've only been here for a few days, not even a week, you can't leave so soon!"
"Kairi," Sora wrapped his arms around me, "This time, it'll be different."
"What are you saying?"
"This time, I'm not leaving without you."
