My demon gives me all I want,
Whispering in the dark,
His greed swallows all of me,
Infatuating my broken heart,
He fills me with love,
As he moves another square,
It's just another game,
He'll never play it fair.
But, I am just a puppet,
His reign is on my strings,
Still he speaks beautiful lies,
Playing 'knight' to his king.
My vengance comes swiftly,
A deep, foreboding fate,
As my blackest of knights,
Calls out 'check mate'.
