"We won't be invitin' these Romulans to our party, will we?"

"No," said Data solemnly. "That would not be appropriate."

They went on with their plans.

A few days later the Romulans came. They were angry that they hadn't been invited, even though everyone else had been. They stormed into the party and cast a spell on Data so that he would die!

Only it didn't work, because he was an android.

They cast a spell on Data so that he would sleep for a thousand years! I mean a hundred. It would only be broken if another android would kiss him!

But the only android they could get on short notice was Lore, who said that no way was he kissing his brother, thank you very much. Also the planet next to the one Kirk had left Mudd on all those years ago with millions of androids had exploded, turning Mudd's planet into a wasteland, and making all the androids die, except for the Stella ones, which were immortal. This had Mudd feeling very wrathful!

So anyway, they couldn't find an android to kiss him. So ok, the Romulans said, "he can't be woken unless his true love kisses him!"

But they couldn't get that either.

Then they finally woke him up by hooking him up to the Enterprise computers and he finally woke up—only he was speaking in the computer's voice! Turns out the computer was in Data and Data was in the Enterprise computer!

And then some Klingons came through a time warp from Kirk's time, after they'd finished messing with Sherman's planet, and saw the Enterprise, and started to fire on them!

And everyone needed Data to do all the stuff the Enterprise computer was supposed to do to save them, but he was too busy exploring and he didn't hear them.

But the Klingons couldn't get them anyway since their weapons were not as advanced!

And then the Organians came to send them back through the time warp and said the Klingons had broken the treaty, but the Klingons argued that it wasn't breaking the treaty, since they had come through a time warp, so the Organians said, "OK, whatever, as long as you don't do it next to our planet!" and they sent them back.

And then Dr. Crusher came back from her vacation and said, "Why didn't you just wake him up using his on-off switch?"

And they said, "Well, uh… we didn't know where it was?"

And she said, "Wesley, why didn't you help them?"

And he said, "I was busy making a matter-antimatter adaptor-transmitter."

And she said, "AAAAARGHH!"

And then she talked to Data in the Enterprise computer and asked him how he could be gotten out, and he said, "Oh, just press 'EXIT'."

So they did, and Data and the Enterprise computer switched back, and then they all said sorry to the Romulans and invited them to their party, but the Romulans said, "We don't care! We don't want to go to your silly party anyway!" and they stomped away in their big ship.

Then they all had a party to celebrate.
