A certain brunette ran through the halls, trying to get to her class on time.
"AHH! Narumi-sensei's absent today, so... SHOOT! It's Jin-Jin!" the brunette thought, and not long after that, she thought of the horrible consequences she'll receive for being late. She imagined the Frog-loving teacher with a tongue of a snake and multiple heads (such as that of Medusa) laughing and harassing the poor girl while she was in his evil clutches.
The girl shivered and shuddered at the utter thought of the scene. And if she didn't make it on time--it could become reality.
"Turn left to go to the left wing.. then right..." Then..
THUD.
The brunette fell, her face smack right on the floor.
She then heard a smirk--the trademark of a certain someone.
"Oh please don't tell me.."
"So it's Polka-dots today, huh, Polka?" the black cat smirked, currently leaning on the wall to get a first row seat of the scene.
"DAMN YOU NATSUME!! NOW I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO MARRY NOW!" Mikan screamed.
Already at the ripe age of 16-years-old, this routine had never stopped.
But then Natsume, had a different reaction, he didn't smirk, which made Mikan confused.
He moved from his position and neared the girl.
"Oi." he called.
Mikan blinked twice, her eyelashes fluttering.
"Nani?"
Then Natsume's hand showed her a signal to come closer, which she did.
"Closer." he ordered.
So Mikan got up from her falling position and went closer.
Then his index finger pointed down, and she followed.
Mikan's eyes then widened and she screamed while Natsume being Natsume, smirked, again.
"WHY THE HELL DID YOU SHOW ME YOUR BOXERS YOU PERVERT?!" she screamed at him.
"Now I won't be able to get married," he said, now walking away. "And since now both of us won't be able to get married, we can marry each other."
The girl then stared at the boy who was now trailing off, blushing ferociously.
"Ja, Polka dots. You'll be late." he said.
Mikan then blinked, now bringing her back to reality.
"Oh yeah! Thanks, Natsume!" she exclaimed, entering the door, and actually not being late.
She greeted everyone and went to her seat, in a happier mode.
"Baka," Hotaru called.
"Mou, Hotaru, I'm not a baka." Mikan said, pouting and crossing her arms.
"Why are you in such a happy mood?" Hotaru asked.
Mikan's pouting stopped, as she slowly released her arms, as she looked out the window.
"Nothing, Hotaru, nothing." she whispered with a silent smile.
And the rest of the day, she just imagined her with a beautiful white dress, as she walked the isle carrying a bouquet.
All of the people now looking at them, the moment happy and joyous.
She dreamt of her wedding day--with Natsume.
Mikan is so fortunate to have Natsume. Maybe someday, all of us will find one whose like him too? 575 words.
