A/N: In the head!canon I have adopted (Gamma's), Druella and Abraxas became lovers when she was married to Cygnus. For anyone unfamiliar with Druella, she is the mother of Bellatrix, Andromeda and Narcissa.
I hereby dedicate this Druella/Abraxas drabble to Gamma Orionis, who makes me happy in more ways than one. This is a present just for you for St. Nickolas' Day (which was a day ago, but shh. I needed an excuse for giving you an early Christmas present). Enjoy!

He raises his head and looks at her, looks at her properly, as if he's seeing her for the first time in his life.
She lies in bed, her blonde curls spilling over into her eyes, her face flushed, her eyes closed in ecstasy, her lips curled at the corners. He looks at her, and he knows that this, this, is what she's been searching for. Happiness. Pure and unadulterated happiness.
He clambers out from between her legs, gently moving one of them so that it dangles over the side of the bed. He doesn't want to ruin her moment, but she's got him intoxicated; he needs to touch her again.
She gives a little squeal when he lowers himself on the bed next to her. She feels free, as free as if she could sprout wings and join the birds swooping in the sky outside. She doesn't mind that one of her legs is bent so high at the knee that if anyone came through the door at this point she would be ruined, would lose everything. Her dress has ridden up to her belly and her breasts are heaving from the deep breaths she's taking, tight against her bodice, but she couldn't care less. In this moment, nothing can bring her down from her high. When she looks at him, she sees someone who is perfect in all the ways a man should be. If he can please a woman, he can do no wrong.
On impulse, she puts her hand on the back of his head and pulls it down so that his lips crash into hers. She kisses him, slowly, deeply, languidly. When she feels his rough tongue meet hers, she is not surprised to taste a familiarly sweet substance she had only ever smelled before.
Nothing could surprise her now. She is in that mood in which anything, no matter how new, she treats as just another part of life.
This is just another day in the life of Druella Rosier. She will remember it just as she remembers countless others.
There is something that makes this day special than the rest though. This day, she will want to remember.
