Asuka

Yet another painfully boring day. That idiot got in trouble again and now I have to wait in line just to wait on the rest of the class to perform a stupid jutsu. I thought to myself fuming. My name is Asuka. It means the smell of tomorrow. I focus on that meaning alot because that's all I have to look forward to. My mother died while in labor with me and my twin. My twin also died at birth. My mother managed to live long enough to give me a name. My father, he thinks I'm some demon child that killed his wife and only son. at first it wasn't that bad, he treated me like any other father would treat their daughter, then when i was five i got into some of mother's clothes and putthem on. I looked just like her and I was proud of that. But my father wasn't he beat me for getting into things that weren't mine and locked me in a closet. He told me that if I told anyone he would kill me like i killed my mother and brother. That's when the drinking started. It just got worse from there. Beatings everyday. Now I can't leave my room without being afraid of getting hit for just looking at him wrong. My room and outside of the house are the only safe places for me. I don't have friends for fear that they would be hurt to. So I just pushed everyone out. Though I couldn't help but like one person. A boy named Kiba Inuzuka. I loved how happy he was all the time. Though I envied that too.

"Take a picture. It'll last longer." A familiar voice said. Yep that's Kiba alright.

"Piss off. I wasn't even looking at you I was thinking. Besides, your ugly mug would end up breaking my camera."

"Come on, you know you want a piece of this sexy bastard."

"Bastard yes. Sexy not so much."

"You're just mad because you know I'm better than you."

"Oh? How so?"

"I'm smarter, hotter, and way sexier than you." He said. I couldn't help but notice how close he was getting with every word and backed into a wall. Great thinking Asuka. Now you're trapped between a rock and a hard place. And that rock was very hot. "And I'm strongerthan you too." He said. I was glad we were in the very back of the room. No one ever pays attention to anybody back there.

"You wish." I retorted.

"Oh yeah? Let's make a bet then. We'll have a little sparing match. If you win. I'll leave you alone and accept that you're stronger than me."

"And if you win?"

"I'll think of that later, but if you back out after you accept I automatically win." Well, how bad could it be?

"Fine, I'll take this little bet of yours."

"Good. Oh and if I win," he said, closing what little distance was between us and putting his lips right next to me ear, "You have to be my girlfriend."

"What?! That's totally not fair!" I said, wanting to slap that smirk from his face, "You tricked me into it."

"You should know better than to take offers when you don't know the catch. But it's too late to back out now. Unless, you just want to be my girlfriend that badly." He said, leaning with his arm against the wall that was behind me.

"Not in a million years." I said pushing him aside and taking a seat as Sensei started a new lesson. Out of all the people in this classroom there is no one I hate more than Kiba Inuzuka. What have I gotten myself into?
