Eevee's Grand Adventure
Well, where do I start? My name is Mache, and I'm an Eevee. I live in a place humans call Pokemon Village. It is a place where Pokemon of all shapes and sizes come and go and there are no trainers to come catch us. It's a really great place, and Mama Sylvie insisted we settle down in here. Mama Sylvie is, obviously, my mother and is a Sylveon. Though not exactly my mother. You see, I'm adopted. Sylvie rescued me from a "really bad place" back when I was an egg. Or so she told me. Anyway, we had a really peaceful life. Until the incident.
It started out as a normal day at our little cove at the river. There's a strange cave at a trail where the waterfall is. It usually takes a good swimmer to get there. Mama Sylvie banned me from going into that cave. The place looked scary, and it made Mama uncomfortable. I never went in there; I wasn't a very good swimmer anyway. I usually played in the shallow water with Poliwag and the others in there. Once, a traveling Kangaskhan came here and told me there was a powerful Pokemon in there. But I didn't believe him. You could never trust a stranger. Especially a traveling one.
So out of curiosity, I decided to try and swim out there. My good friend Poliwag helped me with getting in there. He was a good friend, and you can always count on him. So I arrived at the trail to the cave and started to explore. There was nothing interesting out here. Just some dirt, grass, and flowers. But in the cave it was different. It was a bit dark, still enough light to look around. It looked like a normal cave, but the only thing weird was this figure in the middle. He looked kind of like a human. But there was something strange about this one. I mean, come on. Does a human have a tube extruding from its neck?
It looked weird, all right. Then he looked at me with his cold, dark eyes and I immediately regretted coming in here in the first place. Poliwag told me we should run, but I was petrified by his appearance. Mama Sylvie immediately came into the room and yelled, "Get out of here!" This "thing" suddenly raised its hand and, eyes glowing blue, sent a purple bolt in my direction. Mama ran in front of me, took the hit, and disappeared. I was freaking out! There was no way I could face this thing! Suddenly, eyes glowing blue again, raised its hand and I blacked out.
