Once upon a time there was a party of people traveling through a land they called Amissus Terras. One if the party was a Blood Mage named John Sword. The second was a paladin named Argon. The last person in a party was a ranger named Argen, Argon's brother. The three were traveling to a coastal town to join with an army for the defense of colonies that the Vampires and Dúnedain have set up in the Old World.
OK let me tell you about John Sword, he is the Vampire Prince. Now naturally vampires are magical. They are Blood Mages and Wizards and the best metal smiths in Ridden. Now the Royal Vampire Family has a natural affinity for blood magic and magic. Even if the Royal family is kicked off the throne only that family will have the affinity. Now the Sword family were once humans bitten by a vampire bat.
The powers that be turned John's grandparents into the first vampires. Now 1,500 years later we have our story. And vampires only turn if someone is dying or are asked to turn someone by that person. The hardest metal in Ridden is Aurodium (1). Aurodium is the easiest metal to shape but after it is hardened in a magical fire it can't be shaped again like clay. Aurodium is made by melting copper, iron, steel, and carbon (2) in a magical fire mixed with vampire blood.
The Dúnedain were humans that liked the vampires enough to be supplies of blood for the vampires to feed from. When the vampires withdrew to Amissus Terras they took the humans that wanted to come with them and so became the Dúnedain. On with the story.
One night when the three travelers went to set up camp, water, and feed the horses they found three high elves (3) in trouble. The High Elves were surrounded by wolves. John saw one of the elves was one of his friends and they were wounded. John takes his staff and a dagger and makes a cut his hand and starts waving his hand and staff that was glowing blood red from the tip where John put a Blood Emerald to focus his magical power and Blood Magic. John uses his Blood Magic to make 3 wolves blood turn into acid. John then Says "Wolves hear my cry. I am the Royal Vampire Prince and you will attend your lord or die."
The Wolf Pack leader says in Nature's language (4) "Go away Mortal you are not the prince."
John says "Die then Foolish wolf Leader" John then Waves his staff in the infinity. The Pack leader barks in pain. John Chants "Wolf Leader you have defied the Prince of Nature now is the time to pay the price." John then smears some blood on the gem and points the staff at the alpha wolf.
The Wolf Leader stops breathing. John then says "You shall become my Bonded Companion (5)," John points to the Beta of the Pack and says "Come over here chosen Companion." The wolf walks over to John and John lets the wolf lick his bloody palm. A golden light surrounds John and the Wolf and the Wolf becomes a Warg (6).
The wolf pack runs away leaving the bodies of 4 wolfs and the Beta. John Summons the Beta female to him and cuts his hand again so she can bond with her mates bonded (7). The elves, John, his bonded Companions, Argon, and Argen set up camp.
Later in the night John hears something in the forest and does a grin that turns in to a feral looking grin and started putting up a ward in the clearing "Aliquid quod Cruces, cuius custodie obsessio linea cum factus acid." (8) John pushed some magic into his eyes and his eyes started to glow an eerie neon green.
