Note: I wrote this ages ago and saw someone messaged me about this and the quality yesterday. So I went on my movella and added it on here. I have not wrote or added anything. I have not edited this and frankly I won't. I wrote this 2 and a half years ago and I hate this. That being said despite grammar issues I still get requests for a sequel. I'm sorry but that won't be happening.
Hermione should have been at Hogwarts making sure no Deatheaters snuck in to cause more damage, not in a clearing with no escape from Fenrir. Hermione was currently backed against a hill and Fenrir was slowly closing in. Hermione closed her eyes as he got closer waiting for the first blow, but nothing happened. When Hermione opened her eyes she was shocked. Standing in front of her was Draco Malfoy.
Hermione, acting on reflex, drew her wand and pointed it at Draco. "What are you doing here Malfoy."
Draco raised his wand and spoke incredulously "I just saved you and you're threatening me?!"
"For all I know this is a trick, besides why would you help me?" Hermione replied dubiously, her eyes narrowing.
"Well first off you need to be quieter, because Fenrir is probably still trying to find you. Secondly I could never watch you die." Draco spoke trailing off at the end.
"Why would you care; you are the one who called me mudblood!" Hermione said raising her voice, but not quite to the point where it was yelling.
"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU! THERE I SAID IT HERMIONE, I LOVE YOU AND I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE IF I DID, NOT ONLY WOULD THE TARGET ON YOUR BACK INCREASE BUT I BASICALLY JUST KILLED MY FAMILY! SO I PUSHED YOU AWAY, CALLED YOU MUDBLOOD, WHY ELSE DO YOU THINK I WAS SO MUCH MEANER TO YOU! .YOU. AND I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING EXCEPT WORRY WHEN WEASLEY AND POTTER PUT YOU IN DANGER. SO THAT'S WHY I SAVED YOU. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW HERMIONE?!" Draco yelled his voice breaking as he (unsuccessfully) tried to not cry.
Hermione eyes widened as she saw Draco start to break down and whispering how sorry he was.
"Draco." Hermione said putting her hand on his shoulder as she seen the boy, no man, hug his knees and cry. Finally, he looked up at Her and kissed her making Hermione gasp in shock. As their kiss lingered though Hermione, to the surprise of her and Draco, kissed him back with fervor. After their small songfest Draco looked at Hermione in wonder with only one question in his eyes.
"Hermione do-"Draco tried to say but Hermione shushed him then kissed him again
"You know I secretly had a crush on you in first and second year. And I tried very hard to convince myself that I got over it, that I couldn't love someone with your past. But I do love you Draco no matter what you have said or done, I always will." Hermione said then kissed a stunned Draco
"Hermione, I want you." Draco told her breaking from her kiss only to intensify it. Hermione responded in kind by moaning into his mouth when he put his tongue in her mouth.
Once they were done with they both came to their senses an hour later Hermione reluctantly pulled away and put her clothes on with a flick of her wand.
"Come on, we should go, the sun is almost up and I'm pretty sure everyone is gone." Hermione said not waiting for a reply and heading out into the clearing.
"HERMIONE WAIT!" Draco screamed in warning to her trying to mention the trap.
"What-AHHH!" Hermione tried to say as a thousand silver spikes came out at her
"NO!" Draco screamed to Hermione and covered her body
"DRACO!" Hermione screamed as she pushed him off her and seen the blood, so much blood.
"Draco, Draco please please d-don't do this to me! DRACO OPEN YOUR EYES DRACO PLEASE I'll I'LL GET SOMEONE JUST STAY THERE" Hermione cried as she fumbled for wand to send a patronus to Harry and Ron.
Ron and Harry were looking at the damage of Hogwarts, when they see Hermione's patronus and followed, thinking the same thing, what happened. As Harry and Ron got to the clearing they stopped in their tracks as they seen Hermione trying frantically to stop the bleeding of what they guessed to have been Draco's body
"Blimey Hermione what in Merlin's name happened?!"Ron said shocked and a little nauseated at Draco's mangled form
"He-he saved me please help him he, he is bleeding out!" Hermione said frantically
"Hermione-" Harry said trying to put his hand on her shoulder
"Don't, just don't say it he's not dead he-he can't be I-I love him." Hermione said crying
Harry took Hermione in his arms trying to comfort her as he mouthed to Ron to take Draco and put him with the other who had lost their lives.
8 and a half Months Later
Draco Malfoy
A beloved son, friend
and in the end a hero.
"He was also going to be a daddy." Hermione whispered a tear rolling down her face as she unconsciously rubbed her, now very noticeable, belly. She smiled sadly as her unborn son, Draco Lucius Malfoy junior, kicked as if to say that she still has him. She then looked up at the newly rebuilt Hogwarts before turning and leaving. She couldn't stay here any longer.
