Summer Kiss
He gently kissed my cheek ,
With tender, loving care.
He looked deep in my eyes,
And combed his fingers through my hair.
He made his way to my lips,
And we kissed beneath the tree.
He gave my life meaning,
And hope I could never see.
We caressed each other softly,
Forever's how long it seemed.
I held him tight, not letting go,
It felt like only a dream.
But now that I still hold him,
I realize I'm awake.
I feel his warmth spread through me,
I realize I'm not fake.
Destiny has carried us,
Like a feather in the wind.
And told us to be together,
Me and Gene Starwind.
