Hearing the door crack open, I turned to see a head peek around.
"Amy, are you ready sweetheart?"
"I'm ready daddy."
My father led me out of the room and down towards a set of doors. The doors opened wide to reveal a path that lead to a beautiful garden. It was spring, the weather was crisp and the sky blue. Not a cloud in the sky. Different colors and types of flowers bloomed on either side of the path. Taking my arm, he led me down the path. Butterflies fluttered from flower to flower. Hummingbirds collected nectar, bumblebees doing the same. We reached the end of the path and it opened up into a trail, covered in a layer of yellow and white rose petals.
"I love you sweetie."
"I love you too daddy."
