A Crazy Vacation
Prologue
John: Hello, my name is John Stern, and I had the most wackiest vacation ever! Me and my friend, Billy Dobe went to this weird place where everyone looks funny! Anyway, here's how it all started. It was April 6, 2025.
April 6, 2025
John: It was 7:00 am, it was Monday, and I had just woken up.
John: (Yawn) Oh, man, I'm going to be late for school!
John's Mom: John, sweetie, are you awake?
John: Yes, mom!
He got dressed, brushed his teeth, washed his hands and rushed to the kitchen as soon as he can.
Mom: I made you pancakes and cereal.
John: (Gobbling) Oh, boy! Looks good! Thanks!
Mom: Anyway, have you forgotten our special surprise?
John: Surprise?...
Voice: Oh, boy! Surprise! Surprise!
Mom: Sammy!
Sam was John's little brother, who was only four.
Sam: What is surprise, Mommy? What is?
Mom: Okay, Okay, I'll tell you. We're going on a trip to Hawaii on Friday!
Sam: Yay!
John: Awesome! Can Billy come, please?
Mom: Alright, Billy can come.
John: Yes!...
Mom: On one condition, he has to pay with his own money.
At John's school (Henry Barrington Elementary School)
John: This is where I go to school with my friend, Billy Dobe.
Billy: One thousand dollars?!
John: Hey, no pain, no gain.
"Brrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnngggggg!" ringed the bell.
John: Let's hurry up!
They ran to Room 16.
Billy: Whew, that was close!
The teacher: Okay class, we are going to have a math quiz!
Class: Awwwww…
The teacher: Right after an assembly! Single file please!
Narrator: Okay, I think you're sick of me calling him "the teacher". Well, that I know. His name is Mr. Osban, he's from Nevada, he's 32 years old and now back to the story!
Billy: Alright!
40 Minutes later…
John: That was so cool!
Billy: You bet!
Mr. Osban: Okay, time for the math test!
Billy: Aw, man.
At Lunch…
"Brrrrrriiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnggggggg!" ringed the bell.
John: That wasn't so bad.
Billy: Yeah, right.
John: Let's go get some grub!
Billy: Mmmm, I'm going to have the KFC chicken. Chicken for me! I love chicken, no offense, but I go as hungry as a bear!
Soon, school was over.
Billy: (groaning) Ohhh, too much chicken. Wait, hold that thought.
Narrator: You know what happens, and if you don't, then you'll find out right now.
John: Gross!
Billy: Sorry.
John: Anyway, you psyched about Friday?
Billy: Totally!
John: Yeah!
Billy: Oh, it's weird we're going to have no school! (starts reading aloud)
NO SCHOOL!
On the 8th of April, there will be no school due to construction of new playground equipment and remodeling of the school. Sincerely, your dear principal (Ms. Harriet Kanston)
John: Hmm, that's funny.
Billy: I know.
John: Hey, want to go McDonald's?
Billy: Do I!
At 6:30pm…
John's mom: Where were you, we were worried sick and we already started packing.
John: Sorry, mom.
Mom: It's okay honey. Well, the good thing is that you're safe.
John: Alright, let's get packing!
John's mom, dad, & brother (Sam): Okay!
Looks like everyone is really excited about the trip to Hawaii! I bet it might be good also or will it? We'll find out in the next chapter! And, we'll have to skip to Friday, April 10, 2025. Sorry, the EXTENDED VERSION will have it, which will come out later. R&R!
