It is said that the island of fair Jorvik is a beautiful and magical place. But where there is harmony and light, discord and darkness is always lurking nearby. Mr. Sands is back from the dead and craving revenge on the Soul Riders. He has gathered his Dark Riders and rebuilt his base. Now, more powerful than ever, he is determined to find a way to release the evil Garnok, a deathly monster whose only purpose is to destroy, onto Jorvik. The Soul Riders fight in secret to keep him at bay, but seem to be loosing. Sands' power has spread throughout the small island, already claiming magic and lives. The weather, usually bright and uplifting, turns to darkened storm clouds. The mystical stones hidden around Jorvik are crumbling. Their magic, which was being used to protect the island, is being stiffened and turned into Mordic Umbra, a powerful type of dark power. The Soul Riders cannot defeat them alone. Suddenly, one day while they were scouting atop their horses in the nearby woods of Moorland, they sensed an unfamiliar and magical aura. They rode into the mainland of Moorland stables, cloaking themselves and searching about for the person emitting the aura. They knew whoever it was had the magic inside of them, that whoever it was could hold the key to Jorvik's survival.
