My Wish List
When I saw a shooting star,
I didn't wish for a car.
I didn't even wish for money or fame.
I didn't wish for a good game.
I could have wished for a shopping spree,
Or even a plasma TV.
I could have wished for a humongous house,
Or even the cutest blouse.
I didn't wish for diamonds or gold,
I'd rather wish for you to be there, to love and hold.
I didn't wish for a brand new skateboard,
Or even better a Bleach sword.
I didn't wish for these things because…
My wish already came true,
It was the day I met you.
