A/N: Hello everyone! I was playing SSB:M the other day and reading Naruto FF... I know... odd combination... Anyway, I thought ' Hey! What if I gave Team 7 some of the power ups from Melee?'
Thus, this was born!

NSASRBUMTO
"You're just a dead-last, scaredy-cat!" Kiba shouted.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?" Naruto screamed back.
"YOU HEARD ME!"
"OH YEAH?!?"
"YEAH!"
"WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!? YOU"RE JUST A SMELLY DOG BOY!"
Kiba smirked.
"I bet you wouldn't go into the tunnel in the forest..." The dog-boy replied.
"That creepy, old, abandoned one?" Naruto ask.
"The one even ANBU won't go into?" Sakura put in.
"Yup." Kiba said, smirk still firmly in place.
Ino laughed.
"Like Naruto would ever go down there." The blonde girl said. "He's probably scared of the dark!"
At that, everyone laughed.
"OH YEAH!" Naruto yelled over the laughter. "I'LL GO DOWN THERE AND SPEND THE NIGHT, DATTEBAYO!"
The laughter stopped.
"Sheesh, Naruto." Shikamaru said. "I'm sure they were only kidding..."
"Nope." Kiba said. "If Naruto wants to prove how brave he is... I say go for it."
"Troublesome..."
"Yeah, Na-ru-to." Ino said. "Why don't you show us all how brave you are?"
Naruto grinned.
This was gonna be easy.

Naruto walked down the tunnel.
It was slanted downward at a small angle and seemded to run on forever!
He grumbled as he sidestepped another trap floor.
Not one of those cowards had come with him.
They might get caught if there were more of them.
Yeah, right...
A spear jammed into the wall an inch from his face.
'Concentrate, Naruto. Can't die here.' The blonde thought.

After what felt like hours of walking, Naruto stood in front of a steel sliding door.
'Now what?' He thought.
He noticed that there was a... thing... on the wall next to the door.
"What are you?" Naruto said to the thing.
"Greetings. I am the Aperture Science keypad lock." The thing replied. "Please identify yourself."
"Umm... I am Uzumaki Naruto." The blonde replied.
"Checking identification..."
Naruto stared at the lights on the things screens.
"Identity confirmed." The lock said suddenly. "Welcome, Professor Uzumaki."

Naruto looked around the surprisingly sparse room.
'Oh, what the hell?!?' He thought. 'All that security for an EMPTY freaking room?'
Then he noticed a bulge from the back wall.
Pulling a kunai he moved towards it cautiously.
'It could be a trap..' He thought. 'I better be careful...'
That thought lasted about 2-seconds before he reached out and poked the bulge.
The bulge cracked in the middle horizontally.
A crack the width of Naruto's hand opened and a small green box dropped out.
As Naruto picked up the box the crack closed.
The box fit easily in Naruto's palm. It was green with whit exclamation points on 5 sides.
On the sixth side was a big red button.
"I wonder what happens if I..." Naruto yawned.
'Sleepy time...' He thought.
He pocketed the cube and laid down against the wall.
In seconds he was asleep.

A/N: Well... That's the first chapter of Naruto: Melee... For those of you wondering why I made this story instead of continuing my others... I need a new beta... My old one disappeared so I need a new one to continue them and keep up the quality of the work... If anyone wants the job, please let me know.
