Tears of A Broken Heart

Why do I cry

If it won't bring you back into my arms

Why do I even have a broken heart

When you don't care anymore

These tears are very so heavy

Because each contains

Each moment I cherish

Deeply inside my heart

Until you said

You don't love me anymore

Have you ever even cared about me

Are you afraid of hurting me

Because you and I are not the same thing

Is it just me who loved you

With my heart and soul

You don't want to hurt me

But you already have

By leaving me

Alone to cry myself to sleep

In that dark green forest

I cried and cried

But you didn't came

Back into my arms

Where you really belong

I don't care if I die

Because I will die in your arms

My tears slide down my cheeks

One by one

Each so bitter

Yet so sweet

Maybe because they are full

Of the laughter we once share

Or the sweet moments we had

Or all the sadness in my heart

Because these tears I shed forever

Are tears of a broken heart
