Author's Note: A Gi/Kwame poem I came up. I know this isn't a couple most people like, but please do not flame based off of that fact. After all, if you don't like the pairing, you can ignore my existence. Just don't flame the pairing, please. Flame because my rhyming is cheesy and badly put together.

There is Water in the Earth
She's there, in his mind
Strong and calm spirited
Never hard to find.
There is Earth in the Water.
She feels him in her heart,
A gentle leader who loves all of them.
She hopes they'll never part.
She wonders how they ever
Managed without each other.
He's more than a best friend,
Kind of like a brother.
He can't believe
He used to be
In a world where he
Did not know Gi.
They share quiet moments
Sealed away in time
And fast, dangerous moments
As they fight eco-crime.
Time may change them
Drive them together and apart
But there is one thing that they know
Deep in their hearts.
Earth will always be in the Water.
Even when the Earth is toxic and unclean.
Water will always be in the Earth.
Until Earth is blown to smithereens.
Water will always be in the Earth,
Because although she appears serene
She needs him by her side.
He makes her happy enough to sing.
All the elements need each other.
No words are ever spoken.
They know they love each other.
The elemental bond cannot be broken.
The others don't notice
The way Earth tries be solid and
Protect Water; but sometimes
It's Water who lends him a hand.
And he cannot object to that
Anymore than she can fight his protection
Because apart they are not whole
But together, it's perfection.
