"Er, um, here!"
Sai could only blink as Ino shoved a box into his arms. He raised an eyebrow, and looked at the neatly wrapped box. It was green with a red bow on top. He smiled cheerfully towards Ino. "Thank you, Ino-san." He said a bit confused, just why was Ino giving him a gift?
He was just walking around the village, since he had a day off, and was looking for something to paint before Ino came up and shoved the box in his arms.
"You're welcome." Ino said blushing, her hands behind her back. "Happy Early Christmas, Sai!"
This left Sai confused. "… Christmas?" He frowned, sure, he had heard about it before, but he didn't exactly know what Christmas was.
Ino eyes widen in shock, before she started giggling. "You don't what Christmas is do you?" She asked with a smile, Sai shook his head. "Well, Christmas is a holiday people all around celebrate every year. You give gifts to your love ones and so and so. It's really just about being with your family and friends." Ino shrugged. "That's the best way I could explain it."
She smile nervously a Sai. "Well, go on. Open it." She nodded towards the gift in Sai's arms.
Sai slowly open the gift, before smiling brightly at Ino. "Thank you, Ino-san. It 's a very nice gift." He looked down at his new paint set, before looking back at Ino. "But I have nothing for you." He furrowed brow. "Don't you give someone a gift in return?" He asked innocently, at least that's what his heard before.
Ino nodded. "Well, I guess so, yeah. But you don't have to, really!" She laughed at his expression. "I better get going, Sai. Bye." She waved before turning around to walk away.
"Wait!" Sai called out. Ino turned around with a raised eyebrow. "Yes, Sai-kun?" She asked.
Sai slowly bent down, and very slowly brushed his lips against Ino's. He straighten his back up, and smiled cheerfully at Ino. "Merry Christmas, beautiful." He waved, before 'poofing'.
Ino blush slightly, touching her lips. "Yeah, Merry Christmas." She whisper, looking up towards the sky. Snowflakes had just started falling. She giggled, before skipping off. She had something to tell forehead! She had gotten her first kiss before her! Ha!
A few minutes later you could hear. "Stupid, Ino-pig!" All around Konoha, and "Sai, I'm gonna kill you!"
