Mab:
Did you find the beginning, darling?
Did you find your race?
Did you feel their welcome, darling?
Why did you leave this place?
Nimue:
Did you flee in revulsion, darling?
Did you escape the burning light?
Did you sleep in shadows, darling?
Did you hide from mortal sight?
Mab:
Did you wake up lonely, darling?
Did you wake up old?
Did the years seem gentle, darling?
Or did they just seem cold?
Nimue:
You can live forever, darling.
You can rest now, merely be.
You can be done with doing, darling.
You can love now, here with me.
