Hello Again
"I knew you'd be here sooner or later," she said smiling.
He smiled and moved a little closer. "I know"
"You've changed," she said looking him over.
"It's been a while" he looked at her.
"I'm sorry I haven't talked to you lately" he looked down at his feet in embarrassment.
"It goes both ways" she reached out and put her hand on his chin, tilting it up to her gaze. Their eyes locked.
"I'm still sorry," he said frowning.
"I don't mind, besides, you're here now"
His mood changed "That's right"
"So what have I missed?" he asked her.
"Not much, time passes much quicker for me then you"
"Well, you look great. Young, the way I remember you." he said.
"You're just like the first time I saw you" she said. He looked down and noticed that he had indeed changed.
"Any idea how it happened?" he asked her.
"I think you were sleeping"
"Just like you" he replied, smiling.
"Very peaceful. I liked it that way"
He reached out for her hand "I missed you"
She squeezed it and smiled "I missed you too"
"Shel?" Scott said looking at the horizon.
"Yes?" she said looking at him and then to the cloud they were standing on.
"Where do we go now?" he said.
"Anywhere we want" she said, adjusting his halo and picked at a feather jutting out from his wing and tossed it in the air.
"Really? So this means we can go see everyone?"
"Yep. Why don't we see Ezra and Daisy, they live over there" she said pointing and started moving upwards and off the cloud.
His hand pulled her back. "Not ready?" she asked.
"Yeah" he said staring, the clouds seemed to go on forever. "I'm more scared of this than dying" he said
"Well, Cowboy," she said using her nickname for him, and ruffling his blond hair, now that his gray hair was gone and he had changed back into his younger self. "You've already done that"
"You haven't called me that in years" he smiled at her and looked into her eyes.
He hardly even noticed that they were moving off the cloud.
I told you it was different! This is what you get! lol
