He'd had so much crap in his life. Nothing changed from school to school.
But going back to that school, Truman High, and learning what had happened to people he knew, Sam never ceased to be amazed that he could still feel awful. He never seemed to grow numb. Just looking at the school, every memory he had came back. The good... and the bad.
His life was so screwed up. His past, his present, his future... One thing he was almost happy about... He'd never have to go back to any school again. No one could make him leave this fight.
