I don't own the 7D, but I do own the right to ship Queen Delightful and Bashful.
Bashful couldn't believe it. "N-no. Nonono... Is this real?" he asked himself. He pinched himself and looked around.
"I don't know, maybe reality is an illusion and the universe is a hologram," Queen Delightful said thoughtfully as they continued on the golden sky bucket. No, this definitely was real. He actually won the raffle to spend time on a date with the Queen with a picnic in the Enchanted Forest. Had he seriously stepped into the sky bucket with her?
How did this happen? It all felt... surreal. Well, he finally got his wish to be with Queen Delightful. Hopefully, all was well. "Y-yeah," Bashful quietly muttered to himself. "What could happen?"
"Floom!" Bashful swore softly for the fourth time. This date went horribly.
It all started when they placed the food down on the picnic blanket. When they weren't looking, ants crawled in and stole some of the dessert. Of course, being the woman she is, Queen Delightful allowed them to take it, then handed them the triple-layered red velvet cake to add to the food they already nabbed. Once the ants left, just as they were about to take a bite of their giant subs, a giant downpour abruptly interrupted them. When they took shelter under some branches, lightning struck their food, scorching it. Almost immediately afterwards, a giant tree fell right on top of their blanket, crushing their burnt food. "I guess that tree was hungry," Queen Delightful commented, still smiling and staying positive.
"At least the Glooms didn't come to ruin this," Bashful said, then gasped in fear. As quick as he could, he knocked three times on the tree next to them and sighed with relief.
When the sunlight began to peek through the dark clouds, the two left their shelter and sat on top of the fallen tree. Bashful sighed dejectedly and pulled his green-striped hat down to cover his eyes.
"This was horrible!" he cried quietly, his voice muffled by the cloth.
"Actually, it could've been worse!" Queen D chirped happily.
Bashful groaned. "Queen Delightful?" he asked tentatively, slightly peeking through the holes he cut in his hat.
"Hm?"
Bashful gulped in a deep breath. "How are you able to stay so happy? I mean, Happy stays happy because that's his name, but how can you?"
The queen giggled, giving him a small grin. "I stay happy even during the worst storm because I know that afterwards, a beautiful rainbow will be smiling at me in the end," she answered, pointing into the clearing sky.
Bashful brought his gaze upwards and saw the most amazing rainbow he had ever seen. Its seven colors shone bright against the blue sky, and he wanted to smile as wide as his queen, which he did; it was like the past hour hadn't happened at all.
Queen Delightful pulled the shy dwarf closer to her, causing him to blush as she wrapped her arm around him. He soon relaxed and leaned against her shoulder. Maybe this date wasn't so horrible after all.
