A/N: I was watching a re- run of Castle today, and I wondered how Ryan and Esposito would react to the news that Castle and Beckett had become a couple, so I came up with this little fic! Pretty short and fluffy! Please review with comments/ constructive criticism! Thank you! ;)

Disclaimer: I do not own Castle :(

'Ding!' The elevator doors opened to the bottom level of the 12th precinct. Detective Kevin Ryan stepped out, shuffling the papers that were headed for the storage room. He walked down the long hallway until he reached the very last door on the left, grabbed the handle, and pulled the door open.

At once, he saw two people locked together by their lips, groping each other furiously in a tangle of lips, and hands, and flying brunette hair.

The two were so absorbed in each other that they didn't realize that they'd been interrupted. Ryan gaped, mouth hanging open in shock before he pulled himself together and said,

"Castle? Beckett?" The couple stopped immediately and untangled themselves, turning to face Ryan upon whose face a smile had begun to creep up.

"Well, isn't this domestic," Ryan said, unable to keep the smug, teasing tone out of his voice. Castle merely gave him a pompous, slightly guilty little smile, while Beckett looked down at her feet, blushed deeply pink, and ran her fingers through her hair, in an attempt to tame the tangles that had occurred as a result of hers and Castle's little episode. It seemed that neither was capable of saying a word, and the silence was becoming more awkward by the second, so Ryan said,

"I'll just leave you two alone, then," and smirk on his face and papers still in hand, Ryan backed out of the room, shutting the door behind him.

As the storage room door closed, Kate turned to Rick, looking at him with narrowed eyes.

"What?" Rick said innocently. Kate slapped his arm.

"Castle! You were supposed to the look out! " She said, giving him another slap.

"Maybe he won't tell anyone?" Castle said in hopefully. Kate rolled her eyes.

'Ding!' The elevator doors opened again and Ryan stepped out, this time on the homicide floor of the precinct. He walked straight over to Esposito and plopped down in the chair next to his desk, a huge smirk still on his face. Esposito looked up from his computer and said,

"What? Bro, why are you looking at me like that?" Ryan's smile broadened as he said,

"Because you owe me 50 bucks."

"Why?" Esposito asked, confused. In response, Ryan nodded toward the elevator doors, which were opening yet again, this time revealing Castle and Beckett, who stepped out and headed for Kate's desk.

"What? Naw, really?" Esposito asked, incredulously. Ryan nodded again, and the two turned Castle and Beckett, both of whom were looking determinedly away from Ryan and Esposito. Esposito wolf- whistled and called,

"Hey! I've missed you guys. So what have you been up to?" Castle and Beckett turned to walk toward him, Castle with the same smug smile and Kate still a violent shade of pink, her hair still slightly mussed.

"Shut up, Esposito, get back to work," Kate snapped, but her words lost some of their authority due to the furious blush still in her cheeks. Esposito gave chuckle in response and Kate rolled her eyes before stalking back to her desk, Castle at her heels.

Esposito chuckled again and reached for his wallet. He fished out the 50 bucks he owed Ryan and slapped it in his partner's hand.

"So it looks like we're going to have another wedding soon," he said under his breath.

"I don't know, man. I wouldn't hold your breath on that," Ryan replied. The partners looked over at Kate again in time to see Rick reach out his hand and place it around hers, which was resting on the desktop.

"I'll take that bet," said Esposito.
